Presbyterian Village puts the fun in fundraiser while helping area seniors
Chances are, you have heard of Fort Scott Presbyterian Village’s Annual Dinner and Auction. Every May, the not-for-profit retirement community offers a delicious dinner from Chicken Annie’s and a live and silent auction.You have probably heard that it is a casual, upbeat evening of fun and excitement! What you may not know is why this event is held.
“All of the proceeds directly benefit our residents at Fort Scott Presbyterian Village who have a financial need,” said Executive Director Ginger Nance. “As a Christian based, mission-driven community, Presbyterian Village provides care for those who call us home, even if they should outlive their personal financial resources.”
The annual dinner and auction is the largest fundraiser for Presbyterian Village’s Good Samaritan Program, which helps these residents. The
