A little library facelift Maureen Schlereth is our volunteer Manor librarian. She asked for a new cabinet so that residents could see the new book arrivals and to return recently read books. Maureen’s daughter Margie found the adorable Noah’s ark bookends. “Every time I work with the books and see the bookends, it reminds me of my great-grandson Noah,” said Maureen. u

Resident Jean Lantis is 103 years young!

Centenarian’s Day Celebrations Every year, National Centenarian’s Day is observed on September 22 as a day to honor and celebrate those who have reached the age of 100. This year, we were blessed to have not one but two centenarians! Resident Jean Lantis is 103 years young and resident Vera Kliewer is 100 years young! u
