Farmington Presbyterian Manor earns zerodeficiency rating for focused infection control survey Resident John Garland has found it easy to transition between levels of care in our community.
Long-time resident enjoys community’s continuum of care When John Garland’s wife passed away 10 years ago, he was lonely and detached from the outside world. Seeing that he was at a low point in life, John’s family recommended that it was time for a change. “We were living at a gated community and after she passed away, the neighbors sold out and I was isolated,” said John. “Things weren’t well for me, so my daughter, a retired nurse, suggested I move in closer.” CARE - continued on page 2
Farmington Presbyterian Manor earned a zero-deficiency survey for a focused infection control survey conducted on behalf of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in May. Senior living communities are surveyed annually by their licensing agency for compliance of regulations established by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and CMS.
