Old is gold from leaves of gold MARCH 2022

My mother always used to say, “Old is gold.” It’s a very well-known and familiar proverb.

‘Why Vax’ winners share their stories In our continuing effort to support vaccination efforts to fight the COVID19 virus, staff have the opportunity to enter a drawing for outstanding prizes and to share their stories about why they chose to get vaccinated. Sales and Marketing Counselor Christopher Phelps said this: “I think the vaccine Christopher Phelps selected the Xbox gaming system as his prize in the ‘Why Vax’ drawing. helps us do our part in stopping the virus. I don’t know it’s the end all, be all, but when you put it all together, it helps us get back to normal life. Once we start getting (the virus) under control, we can get to a new normal and get it from a pandemic state to a flu-like state.” Fellow prize winner Elizabeth Snider, CNA, had this to offer: “Honestly, after I got COVID, it affected me pretty well. She used it to explain that we should not consider any old thing as a waste. Since the beginning of the year, I have been engaged in conversations about how the years are going by very fast, and we are growing old. Honestly, growing old never bothers me, except when I experience aches and pains in my body. I was born when my grandmother was 70 years old. Both my parents had full-time jobs. My grandmother literally raised me and my siblings. She also lived a healthy 102 years. As I continue to reflect upon growing old, I would like to share with you the beautiful words I read regarding aging.
