Employee Spotlight: Taylor Stull OCTOBER 2020

Clay Center Presbyterian Manor artist to be featured in annual calendar Clay Center Presbyterian Manor announces a winning artist in its annual Art is Ageless® juried competition will be featured in the 2021 Art is Ageless calendar produced by PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America). “Watercolor Dreams,” a painting by Kenny Carlson, will appear in the 40th anniversary calendar when it is released this fall. In addition, “Hexie Table Topper,” a quilting entry by Shirley Pfizenmaier, and “Birches,” a painting by Coleen Weller, will be featured on the pull-out postcards in the 2021 calendar. Works by local winners are automatically entered into a masterpiece level competition with winning art from 15 other PMMA communities. More than 160 entries were received for this year’s masterpiece competition. The winners are featured in the Art is Ageless calendar with pull-out postcards and greeting cards. “We’re so very proud of our artists in residence, and all of the entries we received from others in our community” said marketing director Christi Rice. “It’s such an honor to see such a special group recognized for their creativity and talents.”

Taylor Stull receives a certificate in recognition of being the July Employee of the Month.

Congratulations to Taylor Stull, Clay Center’s July Employee of the Month. Taylor joined Clay Center Presbyterian Manor in February 2020 as our social services director. As stated in her nomination, “Taylor has shown incredible teamwork and service since the day she started with Presbyterian Manor.” Taylor can be counted on to step up and step in to help at any time with any task. Her work ethic, support and service to those we care for are amazing. We are so blessed to have Taylor as part of our team.

Art is Ageless, open exclusively to people age 65 and older, is a copyrighted program of PMMA. For the competition, the artist must be at least 65 at the time the piece is created, and the piece must have been created in the past five years.
