Clay Center Presbyterian Manor receives customer experience award Clay Center Presbyterian Manor is proud to announce that they are the recipient of Pinnacle Quality Insight’s 2022 Customer Experience Award™. Qualifying for the award in both assisted living and health care, Clay Center Presbyterian Manor displays a continued dedication to providing Best in Class senior healthcare services.

Independent living cottage residents Arlan and Arlene Habluetzel gave a lovely Pinnacle review, and it warms our hearts to hear what they had to say! Under the “areas appreciated” segment, Arlan and Arlene said of Clay Center Presbyterian Manor, “we thought it was the best place to stay over all of them.” They also went out of their way to acknowledge staff who have been especially helpful to them.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to senior living,” said Edward Bernacki, interim executive director. “Receiving this award because of the confidence our residents and their families place in our ability to carry out our mission to provide quality senior services guided by Christian values is a tremendous honor for our team.” Throughout its 54-year history of serving the community, Clay Center Presbyterian Manor has placed a strong emphasis on ensuring that the individual needs of every resident are met. Over the course of 2021, a sampling of Clay Center Presbyterian Manor’s customers and their families have participated in monthly telephone interviews that include open-ended questions, as well as the opportunity to rate Clay Center Presbyterian Manor in specific categories. Every month, Clay Center Presbyterian Manor has gathered its real-time survey results to gain a better understanding of the residents’ needs and make improvements when necessary. By qualifying for the Pinnacle Customer Experience Award™, Clay Center Presbyterian Manor has satisfied the rigorous demand of scoring in the top 15 percent of the nation across a 12-month average. Clay Center Presbyterian Manor assisted living residents and their families rated the community in the top 15 percent for activities, cleanliness,

“I want to recognize Julie, who is in the bookkeeping department and is really good,” they wrote. “I want to recognize Gale Fowles, Craig Easterbrook, and Jake Newmeyer in maintenance. They are excellent and can do anything. They are all good.” Arlan and Arlene also said they feel they have plenty of transportation to get back and forth to do shopping and make appointments. “We have recommended them (Clay Center) to many folks and did so the other day,” they wrote. “I would tell them it’s a nice place to live. Most important to us is that we live in independent living, and they allow us to be independent, and if we need them they are there.” Here at Clay Center, we’re thrilled to hear reviews like Arlan and Arlene’s. Choosing a retirement community is a big decision and one that can be filled with anxiety.
