Aberdeen Village health care center among top in nation The health care center at Aberdeen Village, a PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) senior living community, is among the top senior living health care centers in the country, according to Pinnacle Quality Insight, a customer satisfaction measurement firm.

With more than 25 years of experience in post-acute healthcare, Pinnacle conducts more than 150,000 phone surveys each year and works with more than 2,500 care providers in all 50 U.S. states, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Aberdeen Village’s health center is a recipient of Pinnacle Quality Insight’s 2022 Customer Experience Award™. Qualifying for the award displays a continued dedication to providing Best in Class senior health care services. Aberdeen Village received this recognition from residents in the health care center and their families for cleanliness and the quality of nursing care the team provides. “What makes the Pinnacle Customer Excellence Award unique is that it really comes from our residents and their families, who rate us highly for the quality of care and services they receive,” said Tim Allin, executive director. “The award is evidence of the faith our residents and their families place in the way we carry out our mission to provide quality senior services guided by Christian values.” Throughout its 21-year history of serving the community, Aberdeen Village has placed a strong emphasis on ensuring that the individual needs of every

Area artists invited to submit work for Art is Ageless competition Senior artists in the Olathe area are invited to participate in Aberdeen Village’s annual Art is Ageless® exhibit and juried art competition March 25– April 29. Entries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is 65 years of age or older to exhibit and/or compete for an opportunity to be featured in the Art is Ageless calendar in 2023. Due to the uncertainty created by COVID-19, Aberdeen Village plans to hold its event virtually for friends of the program on the community’s Facebook page. Winners will be announced on Facebook following the event. Works will be on exhibit at the community for residents only. Artists compete in nine categories, including painting, drawing, photography, quilting and sculpture and may be designated as amateur or professional. The complete rules and category listing are online at www.ArtIsAgeless.org. Local competition winners will join winners from 14 other PMMA® communities to be judged at the systemwide level. Artists may choose to enter the exhibit only. For the competition,
