Our annual Art is Ageless® exhibit began again this spring —and we’re fortunate to have so many talented artists in so many categories.
May Day baskets celebrate the transition from rainy, chillier months into warmer and sunny ones.

A somewhat forgotten tradition of hanging a basket of flowers on your friends’ and neighbors’ doors has always been a favorite in my family. My mother loved doing this for our family, and she would also hang them on her friends’ and neighbors’ doors. It’s such a sweet little surprise, MAY DAY - continued on page 6
The amateur drawing category has always been among our strongest areas, and this year was no different. We had 13 entries in that category. Our next strongest showing was “Christmas” with six entries, followed by mixed media/ crafts, with three entries. We also had two entries in needlework, and a duo of entries in professional drawing. Sculpture/3D, painting, photography, and quilting each drew a single entry. We held the exhibit throughout the month of April, and we hope that everyone had a chance to go AiA - continued on page 6
