Celebrating CNAs During the week of June 15-22, we set aside time to honor those who do so much to make our community a better place by celebrating Nursing Assistant Week. Our CNAs will get a special bag and a water bottle from our director of nursing, and they’re certain to appreciate a word of thanks from residents and coworkers!

Join our festivities for Fathers Day On Sunday, June 18, we’ll celebrate Father’s Day with a special barbecue and entertainment. Also, every male in our community will be recognized with a special Fathers Day plaque on their door.

Continuing education

Being a caregiver takes more than just earning a specialized degree or certificate. It means pursuing continued education opportunities to improve methods of care. We help our staff continue to perform at their best by offering learning activities on “Skills Day,” a day of education for caregivers.

Continuing education We will be featuring employees who have continued their education with Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America’s help in an upcoming issue of Community Matters. If you have a story to tell about an employee you know is continuing their education, or if you just want to tell the world what you love about living in your senior living community, we want to share your story.
