When you look at my residents, what do you see – those who are frail, handicapped, confused – oh yes, some would agree. I look at my residents, and what do I see – I see remnants of Glory looking back at me. Do you see Bill walking down the hall? He cannot find his room and he almost falls. Viva volunteers! Volunteers are just ordinary people with extraordinary hearts. They offer the gift of their time to teach, to listen, to help, to inspire, to build, to grow, to learn. Once again, we will take pleasure in recognizing our wonderful resident volunteers this month. April 18 will be our annual Volunteer Brunch in our assisted living dining room, 10 – 11:30 a.m.
