 HOW TO CLEAN THE FILTER, DRAWER AND RUBBER OF THE WASHING MACHINE

 When you clean the washing machine, you not only have to look at the exterior and interior (which would be the drum) but there are three more elements that are very important to keep your washing machine for longer and clean better.

 1. When and how to clean the washing machine filter

 At least clean it twice a year, although it is best to do it once a quarter. Dirt usually accumulates in the washing machine filter, such as lint, some remaining fibers and even buttons or coins. The filter is usually down at the front of the washer (front loaders).

 Step 1. First place cloths or rags (towels would also do) on the floor, since when you open it, some water will surely come out.

 Step 2. Open the filter and carefully check that there is nothing inside.

 Step 3. Put the filter under the tap and clean it with a little soap and water and you're done.
