‘EasyCut’ Spring Linseed – the reliable choice for ease of harvest

What are ‘EasyCut’ Varieties?

When originally grown as ‘flax’, Linseed stems were valued for their high fibre content. Great if you want to make linen - not so great if you want to harvest the crop for oil.

Working in conjunction with Premium Crops R&D, our plant-breeding partners select varieties for both oil yield and a lower fibre content.

The result of that hard work is the development of ‘EasyCut’ varieties which offer:

• Shorter stems with shorter fibres

• Up to 25% less fibre content

• Early maturity for a wider harvest window
