COLLECTION DAYS Monday & Thursday. Semen is available 7 days per week for pick-up and can be shipped Monday through Friday. During peak seasons of August, September, & October, some boars will be collected Sunday & Wednesday evenings & may be picked up if arranged in advance.

PAYMENT Payment is expected at time of purchase unless otherwise agreed. We accept all major credit cards. It gets even more fun when you go back to the next generation and see Superman, Miss Hathaway and Heimer’s famous Man In Black sow that has produced numerous champions in her 1st 2 litters.

We believe Lift Off will fit a large majority of Berkshire females as he brings power, mass, extension, and look in a big massive package. Where we think it gets really fun is when you see the Shotgun Wedding impeccable rear leg structure laid under him with a pastern set that is not very easy to find in the Berkshire breed.

Lift Off ’s littermate gilt was shown by the Norris girls to Reserve Champion Gilt honors at the Team Purebred Junior Nationals.

Like many in attendance at the Indiana State Fair, we thought Lilly Jackson’s Champion Berkshire Gilt who went on to be named 6th Overall was pretty special. When we asked about purchasing her, we found out there was a littermate boar. We quickly got word from those that saw him as a weanling that he was the clear “stud” of the litter. When we talked to Jesse he told us that he thought the boar was pretty special as well and that the litter also included the Champion AOB @ California State Fair and several gilts being retained.

When we saw Wedding Crasher in person we were glad we made the quick trip over as we feel he is absolutely a very unique Berkshire boar. He combines a flawless / athletic design with tons of shape and a powerfully jet-fronted head/neck. Big-legged and comes at you wide & true.

If he does not have a significant impact to help continue the improvement of the Tamworth breed, we will be very surprised. We purchased Ferrari very late in the season and he is very young but it has been a blast to see visitor’s faces when we roll him out. His back legs look like a FLUFFY show steer ready for the grand drive. Huge topped, cool fronted, huge ribbed, and perfect Tamworth breed characteristics.
