2 WEAVERS JOIN THE DENIM CONSTELLATIONS: Niggeler & Küpfer (Italy). Weavers specialized in cotton sportswear since 1876, Niggeler & Küpfer develop denim and cotton wash & dye collections, with spinning and weaving done in Italy and washing in Tunisia. The products, visually both vintage and fantasy, are aimed at a middle-range feminine market (65%) in Europe and North Africa—true fashion products, combining play on weaves and finishings that include stenciling and lamination. W Denim by Whoval (Turkey) grew out of the connection between the original know-how of the Turkish weaver W Denim and the art of the Japanese launderer Whoval. A 100% indigo collection mastered from spinning to wash-out, for products in an authentic and citywear spirit, destined for feminine (60%) and masculine (30%) markets. Committed to more responsible production, the company notably offers blends based on Sorona®, a renewable-source fibre made from corn.

A manufacturer since 1976 and recently also a launderer, Gitex proposes upmarket, exclusively denim collections for men (50%), children (30%) and women (20%). From creative products to masterful laundering, combining vintage and fantasy, destined for the European market. Merkoteks (Turkey). A specialized launderer and finisher since 1968, Merkoteks presents original jeanswear and casualwear collections, mostly feminine, aimed at the European market. They notably offer coatings and embroideries, and master cutting-edge techniques such as ozone washes and laser finishing. Chapstar by Paris Texas (Morocco). A manufacturing and laundering platform founded in 2006, Chapstar by Paris Texas produces collections in authentic and vintage style, destined for the French, Spanish and, more recently, the American markets. Feminine (60%) and masculine (40%) with strong added value, thanks especially to the presence of the design department offering multiple solutions in computer-assisted concepts. Desert Studio (United Arab Emirates). Situated in the heart of the desert, this manufacturing and laundering studio emanated from the Denim Clothing Company. Dedicated to the high-end market, Desert Studio offers upmarket capsule collections of exclusive products, with sophisticated washes at the pinnacle of technology and production resolutely inscribed in environmental responsibility.
