Blended into a seamless series of ever changing tableaus are high caliber acts featuring divers, synchronized swimmers and acrobats, which have been adapted to fit an aquatic environment. Designed to be classic and timeless, the show’s name was inspired by the concept of Bellagio, home to world class exhibitions of art and is the perfect setting for this aquatic masterpiece. As elegant and luxurious as Bellagio, the custom-built theatre is reminiscent of a 14th century European opera house. The stage consists of a deep pool with five hydraulic lifts that emerge from the water to become performance spaces. The lifts can completely cover the water turning it into a conventional stage. Divers plunge into the water from 60’ one minute and the next, characters are performing on a dry stage. With 1.5 million gallons of water, 1200 costume pieces, 85 performers and 150 technicians, “O” is a theatrical experience unlike anything ever seen on stage and is known throughout the world as the must see show on the Vegas Strip.
