We offer a highly skilled process team organized to address a range of client technology and planning challenges. Our process architects lead facility programming, planning, and design of development, process, and technical support spaces. Our process engineers translate user requirements into working facilities by specifying the equipment, controls, and interconnecting piping in an efficient layout that meets cGMP and regulatory requirements, resulting in quality products.

AUTOMATION EXPERTISE Owner perspective for operational success: The Precis automation team provides deep process and operations understanding as the foundation to deliver automated systems that meet user requirements. Most of our team has owner-side experience in operations and project execution, so we’re well-versed in the realities of living with results after projects are over. Our team includes chemical, electrical, and mechanical engineers, uniquely positioning us to consult beyond the wires and I/O. Our approach considers data flow and operational viability, including integration with wider supervisory and enterprise systems. We lead automation projects through design and construction, engineering checkout, and process commissioning.

ELEGANT SOLUTIONS FOR COMPLEX PROJECTS Robust resources and visualization tools: Precis helps owners imagine the future of their spaces while streamlining efficiency and driving collaboration and decision-making.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling captures complex fluid and airflow patterns and allows fine-tuning of engineering systems design. 3D Revit BIM models take project communication beyond traditional drawings and specifications, enabling advanced coordination and conflict resolution. In-house reality capture capabilities enable our team to quickly produce high-definition 3D laser scans and models that document existing conditions, identify discrepancies between the actual state of the site and the design plans.

The model can be shared with the design team through cloud-based platforms such as BIM 360, helping to optimize schedules, reduce change orders, enhance predictability on-site, mitigate risks, and improve quality assurance.
