E D I T O R ‘ S “True style is not defined by trends, but by the confidence to be yourself.” Four seasons, four moods, and countless ways to express ourselves through fashion. As the seasons change, so does the way we dress. Weather and temperature can influence our choice of clothing, fabrics, and layers, as people naturally adjust their clothing to maintain comfort in changing outdoor conditions (Li et al., 2021). This connection can also be seen in the fashion industry, where Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter are recognized as the two main fashion seasons. Spring/Summer collections commonly feature lightweight and breathable materials, while Autumn/Winter collections focus more on layers and warmer fabrics (FashionUnited, 2024).
N O T E
Beyond comfort, every season brings its own colors, textures, trends, and creative ideas. Recent Spring/Summer 2024 collections, for example, showcased different silhouettes, colors, textures, and designs that reflected the creativity of the season (Vogue Philippines, 2024). In this magazine, we explore the relationship between Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter and the world of fashion. From breezy summer pieces and fresh spring looks to autumn layers and cozy winter styles, we discover how each season creates its own fashion story. After all, fashion is not only about following trends—it is also about adapting to our surroundings and expressing ourselves through every season. 3
FEATURE STORY The Four Seasons: A Beautiful Cycle of Change
The four seasons, spring, summer, autumn, and winter, each bring something different to our lives. They change the weather, our surroundings, and even the activities we enjoy. Spring is a season of new beginnings. Flowers bloom, trees grow new leaves, and everything starts to look fresh and colorful. Summer brings warmer days, making it a great time for vacations, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. Autumn has a calmer feeling as the leaves change colors and fall from the trees. It reminds us that change is a natural part of life. Winter then brings colder days, when people often stay indoors, enjoy warm drinks, and spend more time with their loved ones. The four seasons are more than just changes in weather. They can also remind us of different parts of life. Spring teaches us to start again, summer reminds us to enjoy life, autumn teaches us to accept change, and winter reminds us that resting is important. Every season has its own beauty, and together they show us that change is a normal and meaningful part of life.

PEOPLE / INTERVIEW
STORIES WE CARRY
Lessons from Struggles, Mistakes, Teamwork, and Understanding Others Everyone carries a story that shapes the person they become. Some stories come from difficult moments in school, while others come from mistakes, relationships, or unexpected sources of inspiration. Through conversations with students, we discovered that behind every experience is a lesson about growth, confidence, and understanding.
LEARNING TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF Entering senior high school was a turning point for one student. At first, they struggled with motivation and began to lose confidence when they saw their classmates achieving better results. The pressure of trying to keep up made them question their own abilities, especially during moments when studying felt difficult and overwhelming. With time, however, they learned to be more patient with themselves. Instead of keeping their struggles to themselves, they became more open to classmates and friends and learned that asking for help was not a weakness. They continued trying, understanding that every difficulty could become an opportunity to learn. Their experience taught them that failure does not mean someone is incapable. Instead, it can become a reminder to grow, improve, and keep moving forward. Sometimes, progress begins with simply choosing not to give up.
EVERY STORY HAS A LESSON
GROWING THROUGH OUR MISTAKES For another student, an important lesson came from looking back at their past. There were mistakes they once felt ashamed of experiences they wished they could forget. As they grew older, however, they began to see those moments differently. Their story reminds us that mistakes are not necessarily the end of a journey. They can be part of the process of becoming more responsible, selfaware, and willing to grow.
LEARNING TO WORK TOGETHER Another student reflected on their experiences with group activities in school, particularly before GECA. In the past, they often chose to do most of the work themselves because they believed it would be easier and faster. Through this experience, they learned that teamwork requires trust and cooperation. We cannot always accomplish everything alone, and allowing others to contribute does not make the work harder. Instead, it gives everyone an opportunity to grow together. "Every experience has the potential to teach us something valuable."
Although these three experiences are different, they share one important message: growth often comes from the moments that challenge us. Struggles can teach us perseverance. Mistakes can teach us accountability. Teamwork can teach us to trust others. And understanding someone else's story can teach us empathy. We all carry experiences that shape who we are. Some may be difficult, some unexpected, and some even ordinary. But every experience has the potential to teach us something valuable. What matters is not having a perfect journey but continuing to learn from the one we have.

TIMELESS • LIFESTYLE
FASHION THROUGH THE FOUR SEASONS One style, four seasons, endless possibilities. Fashion is a fun way to express ourselves, and the changing seasons give us different ways to show our personal style. What we wear can change depending on the weather while still allowing us to look and feel good.
SPRING
SUMMER
Light colors, floral designs, dresses, and comfortable shirts are popular choices. Spring brings a fresh and airy vibe, perfect for soft and effortless outfits.
Summer calls for lighter clothes such as T-shirts, shorts, skirts, and sandals to stay cool. These pieces keep us comfortable while giving us a relaxed and casual look.
AU T U M N
WINTER
When autumn arrives, sweaters, jackets, and long-sleeved shirts become useful. Earth tones like brown, orange, and green can also match the season.
In winter, staying warm becomes the priority, so coats, hoodies, scarves, and boots are common choices. These layers help us stay cozy while still looking stylish.
Seasonal fashion does not mean we need to buy new clothes all the time. We can mix and match the clothes we already have to create different looks. In the end, fashion is not only about following trends. It is about being comfortable, confident, and showing our personality. Just like the four seasons, our style can change and that's what makes it fun.
“Style changes. Confidence lasts.”

Little by Little With every sunrise, I learn to begin again. Through every challenge, I learn to stand strong. Not every step is easy, but every little progress brings me closer to who I'm meant to be.
