A Flight of Freedom and Elegance The lighting installation in Reem Mall symbolizes the story of two falcons in flight, honouring Abu Dhabi‘s proud falconry heritage. The design combines Preciosa‘s Signature Design, Pearl Curtain with the detailed craftsmanship of two falcons to perfectly match the client‘s vision.

Pearl Curtain This Signature Design is based on component groups, a number of spheres hanging above one another on a single suspension cable. The design was the perfect backdrop to create the look and feel of a bold falcon majestically gliding through the sky.

Feathers of Glass
Every detail matters. To create a unique lighting installation Preciosa focuses on the up-close view. The falcons' bodies are created from more than 300 hand-blown crystal feathers in different colours.

Craftsmanship at its Finest
There is no limit to Preciosa's ingenuity. Our Lightkeepers initially modelled the falcon heads using 3D printing and then shaped them in polished brass.

Illuminating Flight
There are 5 different dynamic scenes and more than 300 LED modules which create the feel of falcons in motion and the trajectory of the flight.
