A key project in 2026 is The Central Queensland Power Project (CQP), which will deliver over 2GW of wind, solar & storage developments and new transmissions. This project will create jobs for residents; stimulating the local economy and reducing the carbon footprint of the area. This will improve liveability in TannumSands £
The only residential project planned to commence construction in 2026 is the 45 FrenchStreet Units, which is set to deliver 20units to TannumSands.
All the planned ready-to-sell stock is apartments only, without any new houses in the pipeline. This will not be enough to satisfy demand, especially when compared toQ1 2026 sales of 63 houses and 15 units sold. As a result, the current undersupply in house stock will continue; placing upward pressure in property prices – both in the short and long term.
