Is A Graduation Degree Enough To Get A Job In India?

No, In India graduation is just not enough in this era to land a decent job. You will need to have some special skills in your stream to make a mark in the crowd. Courses like

1 BA / BA honours (Economics, Psych, Pol Sci, Sociology, languages, English, etc )

2 B Comm / B Comm honours (Accounting, Banking, etc )

3. BSc / BSc honours (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Psychology)

4. BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies)

Need to be followed up with a Masters's degree in a specialized area of study.

Even the MBBS degree alone doesn’t land us any decent medical practice, and one needs to do a specialization in order to land a well-paying job.

However, there are some fields where a bachelor's degree, if completed from a good university/college with good grades, can get us placed with reputed companies at decent packages:

1. B.Tech / BE (Bachelor of Technology/Engineering)

2. B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

One needs to have professional degrees with specialization in some subject like MBA, PGDM ( Post Graduate Diploma In Management ). Apart, one needs to have some good skills also. Else you can go for a master's degree for some added advantage. There can be exceptions to the information shared here, but like I said, if you have completed these aforementioned courses from reputed colleges with high grades then your chances of landing a good job increase significantly.
