2D EXPERIENCES 4 hours | 12 - 20 participants | $1085+

COLLAGE Make playful collages using paper, cloth, found objects and other materials. You’ll also learn image transfer techniques designed to integrate your own drawings or other designs into the assembled works of art.

SCREENPRINTING Wish you had a t shirt of your dog’s sweet mug? Learn the hands-on art of creative screen printing! Whether printing on paper or fabric using a variety of pre-designed screens and colorful water-based inks, you’ll be going home with the perfect memento of this group experience.

Have a larger group size? No worries! With plenty of studios to choose from, we’ll work with you to craft an unforgettable experience for everyone.

2D EXPERIENCES

4 hours | up to 12 participants | $1085

ZINE MAKING Learn the art of creating zines,; small, illustrated booklets combining poetry and imagery.

In this workshop, we'll craft poetry and prose through prompts, and merge them with stamping, drawing, painting, and collage to make unique zines.

MONOTYPE Create uniquely textured prints using stencils, drawings, and elements from nature. Working in Pratt’s fully equipped print studio, you’ll experiment with a variety of monotyping techniques to create colorful compositions on paper.

WOOD EXPERIENCES SPOON CARVING Get into the meditative rhythm of the age old craft of spoon carving.

Whether it’s a soup spoon, ladle, or intricate stirrer for your morning cuppa, you’ll be going home with a one-of-one, made by you! max 8 participants | $1165

KUMIKO Kumiko is a Japanese art form of fitting intricate pieces of wood into a geometric pattern. You will learn how to use a chisel and angled guide blocks to accurately fit the pieces into the asanoha pattern.

JEWELRY EXPERIENCES JEWELRY Make earrings, pendants, or bracelets in copper or brass.

Design, texture, cut, drill, polish & more. Leave with finished bling, for yourself or as a gift.

ORNAMENT Make a cute ornament for your window, your car, your wall, or your plant with creative wire wrapping and simple beading techniques. String it on some cord or chain for a new accessory with a boho chic vibe!

METAL EXPERIENCES FORGING Blacksmithing, also known as forging, is the process of shaping steel with heat and hand tools.

Using basic tools and techniques, you will hammer, twist and bend hot stainless steel into a variety of sculptural forms and functional objects.

8 participants | $1595

WELDING Spend an afternoon welding! This offering is a perfect introduction to welding and the MIG welding process. It is a great opportunity to explore what the Pratt fabrication shop has to offer and make a sculpture or small stand.

12 - 18 participants | $1595+

By activating two separate or neighboring studios, your group gets to experience multiple mediums while sharing an experience together.

GLASS EXPERIENCES BEADMAKING Experience the magic of molten glass in the tiny world of glass beadmaking. Learn how to create different shapes and textures, while working with a torch on a mandrel. Whether creating a cute flower charm, small critter, or colorful abstract bead, the possibilities are endless. max 8 participants | $1320

FUSING Perfect for beginners of all ages.

Fuse and melt colorful chunks and sheets of cut glass into light catching ornaments, tiles, plates, plant stakes, wall hangings, and more! Learn how to utilize texture and layers and create depth and movement.

8 - 12 participants | $1650+

GLASS continued FLAMEWORKING Ever wonder how glass animals and marbles are made? Come experience the fluid movement of molten glass while working on a torch. Make delightful small creatures, flowers, pendants, marbles, and more. max 8 participants | $1320

BLOWING Experience the dramatic art of glassblowing in this popular workshop at Pratt’s fully equipped hot shop! Watch professional glassblowers demonstrate the tools and techniques. Then, with assistance, work in small teams to gather, blow, and/or shape molten glass into a variety of objects.

6-20 participants | $1685+

By activating two separate or neighboring studios, your group gets to experience multiple mediums while sharing an experience together.
