Female Infertility : Female infertility is a major hindrance that can prevent couples from achieving their dream of parenthood. Usually, female infertility can be termed as the inability for a woman to conceive a child after having regular, unprotected intercourse after the age of 35. Endometriosis: Endometriosis is the condition when the uterine tissue, which is generally seen in the lining inside the uterus, is observed to be growing outside. Such a tissue, or a procedure for its removal can lead to the blockage of fallopian tubes. Further, this condition can also prevent the successful implantation of the fertilized egg which can cause infertility.

Fallopian Tube Blockage: Fallopian tubes are a critical component of a female’s reproductive system as they are responsible for the transportation of eggs from the ovaries to the uterus. If these tubes are damaged or blocked due to some reason, they can prevent the fertilization of the egg. Reasons for such damage could be:  Pelvic inflammation  Surgery involving your abdomen or pelvis.  Pelvic tuberculosis Uterine Malformation: As the name suggests, if the shape of the uterine mal-formed, it could result in infertility. It is a leading cause of female infertility and must be examined carefully. 

Polyps or benign tumors can block fallopian tubes. Further, it is possible that such tumors interfere with implantation affecting your fertility.



There are several anatomical anomalies of the uterus that could also be responsible for infertility.

Repeated Miscarriages: Repeated miscarriages can be considered to be a condition where a woman suffers from miscarriages for two or more frequencies. While many women face miscarriages, repeated miscarriages indicated the possibility of infertility who must consult a specialist to identify its cause. Conditions affecting the uterus, metabolic causes, environmental factors, infections, hormonal disorders, and clotting disorders can lead to miscarriages.

Irregular Periods: Irregular periods are a quite common phenomenon and do not always indicate a problem with a woman’s fertility. However, in some cases, there could be several hormonal imbalances that could cause irregular periods and could be an underlying cause for female infertility.
