A classic design project where had to consider a traditional technology and folding chair-type. In this case the focous was on the practice orinted towards designing and constructing. had to prepare the chair on my own at the workshop of the university, so i had to observe all the details according to my opportunities of production. it was a very instructive, complex and motivating project for me, which deepen the respect and honor for manual constructing in me.

PROJECT ABOUT

The Indhi collection is a combination between two traditional materials, wood and glass, which together create simple yet elegant and sophisticated design products. The first piece of furniture produced was the Glasswood Chair, but today the family also includes a table. The combination of the two materials is not new, but still innovative. The structural framework of all Glasswood products is formed by teak wood stained in walnut color, while the supporting function is given by fluted glass elements. The respective role of the components is visible and results in a coherent overall picture.
