Garth Brooks: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song • March 29 You won’t want to miss this all-star tribute concert to honor Garth Brooks. Brooks, at 58, is said to be the youngest ever to receive the prize. Tony Bennett was celebrated in a 2018 Gershwin Prize PBS broadcast that went on to win an Emmy! World on Fire on Masterpiece Sundays starting April 5 Follow the intertwining fates of ordinary people in five countries as they grapple with the effects of the war on their everyday lives. This adrenalized and resonant World War II drama stars Sean Bean, Helen Hunt, Jonah Hauer-King, Lesley Manville, and Blake Harrison. Prairie Public: building partnerships for more learning
Congratulations to teachers at New Rockford-Sheyenne School in New Rockford, ND, who were chosen from a statewide pool of applicants to evaluate family engagement resources built around the PBS Kids series, Molly of Denali. Prairie Public was one of five public television stations selected to develop these resources and local engagement strategies.
With an emphasis on family and intergenerational relationships, Molly of Denali teaches these values while showcasing contemporary aspects of rural life, strong female role models, and technology.

PBS has launched a cool new interactive kids series called Scribbles and Ink on the PBS Kids digital platform at pbskids.org. Scribbles and Ink have a number of adventures together, ranging from rainy day play time to a party to space travel. In each instance, the show lets children participate in the action with their own drawings, which become animated and incorporated into the action.
