WELCOME We would like to thank you for taking the time to look through our sale offering. We continue to transition our herd to a fall calving program. That is why you will see a bit different offering this year. We held back some yearlings from last year to ensure we could supply enough bulls for our customers. We had a small group of cows calve last spring, most had been moved to fall. I am very happy with this group of bulls we have to offer you this year. Proven genetics that are ready to go out and cover cows.

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Gelbvieh in Canada. If you look back at those first cattle, they were functional animals. There has been a lot of work put into keeping the breed up to industry standards, without chasing fads. That is why I believe Gelbvieh is the best all around breed for the commercial cattleman. Strong maternal traits, heavy weaning weights, easy calving, excellent calf vigor, docility and longevity. There are many events planned through the summer and fall to celebrate the 50th. If we don’t see you in the bull pen, hopefully we’ll visit somewhere along the road this summer!

All bulls have a 50K genetic panel and are sire verified. Available for viewing at the farm. Coffee is always on!

TERMS & CONDITIONS

JSJ LIVESTOCK GUARANTEE: We guarantee all sight unseen purchases with a no questions asked return policy. Bid with confidence. We guarantee to provide a sound breeding bull capable of passing semen test by 14 months of age. All bulls meet Canadian Health standards, will be semen tested and have a vet examination. Any bull failing to be a satisfactory breeder will be replaced with a bull of equal value and quality, or a credit given towards purchase of another bull.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: An invoice will be e-mailed to all buyers by JSJ Livestock following the sale. Full payment due upon receipt unless other terms are agreed upon prior to the sale. U.S. funds will be accepted at the current rate of exchange. Payment will be accepted by e-transfer or cheque. Once full payment is received registration papers will be transferred and bulls will be delivered.

DELIVERY: JSJ Livestock offers free delivery to central location in MB, SK & the U.S. border.

Cost share to all other points in the U.S. & Canada, at the sellers convenience and the buyers risk. If you choose to leave your bull with us after March 18th there will be a $5 per head per day charge.

INSURANCE: All animals purchased become the responsibility of the buyer at the commencement of the sale. We strongly urge you to insure your purchase. Keystone Livestock, Lois McRae (204) 573-5192, will be happy to assist you.
