Boarding is now separated into five different areas for noise control, while 10 luxury suites with TV and platform beds are still offered with calming music for all.

Grooming services go from basics like a quick wash to deshedding treatments with add-ons like ear cleaning, tooth brushing and nail trimming, and make even the dirtiest dog gleam.

Sarah Morgan, the current owner, came to the restaurant in 2012 while initially studying animal medicine at CSU, but said that her part-time job at Martini’s blossomed into a full career. Morgan and her husband eventually made the decision to purchase the place, and they’ve worked hard to accentuate the atmosphere, as well as taking great steps to appeal to both existing and new customers during the days of COVID dining restrictions.

“Once we got open and people started to feel what an organic cotton top fit like on their body, they were like, ‘Oh my, I didn’t know stuff like this existed,’ ” White said.

And as a woman, running a business for women, she knows where the pitfalls of shopping for clothing lie. She said that women want quality clothing, and don’t want to buy it online. E-commerce has the correct market plan for everything but women’s clothing, she said. Women know that a good fit is entirely individual. The store, which opened in 2003, offers everything a dog or cat needs, including supplements, grooming supplies, leashes, collars, toys, beds and cat condos. “We offer a lot more than supplies, which is helpful for the community,” said Carrie Adams, owner. “It gives them a one-stop shop. It’s not just supplies but services, getting (their pets) cleaned up and training them.” The dog wash is a special feature and is self-serve with six bathing stalls and three tub heights, all in private stalls stocked with towels, shampoos, conditioners and basic grooming equipment.

Three additional services include a pet training space, food delivery and a pet-sitting service.
