FUTURE LEGENDS ANNOUNCES VENUE CHANGES FOR HAILSTORM SOCCER, NOCO OWLZ

Northern Colorado ’ s Hailstorm soccer club and Owlz minor league baseball team announced venue changes for the start of their inaugural seasons.

The Owlz played their first home game on June 1 at Jackson Field, 411 20th St. in Greeley, on the University of Northern Colorado campus.The first two series will be at Jackson Field.

The Hailstorm will play its first home game on June 8 at Jackson Stadium,directly across the parking lot from Jackson Field.It is currently 2-2-1 in USL League One play.

Both teams were set to begin their seasons at the Future Legends Complex in Windsor, but issues related to construction material availability and litigation with a former contractor impacted the completion date.

A spokesperson for Future Legends said the organization hopes Future Legends Field (capacity:2,500) will be finished by July andTicketSmarter Stadium (capacity:6,500) will be finished by September.Depending on the status of materials, however,these estimates may still change. All Hailstorm games are currently set to begin at 7 p.m., and single-game tickets are available online. General admission tickets are $15.

Ticket options will be reevaluated with the continued construction of the Future Legends Complex.

Owlz games are set for 4:05 p.m.unless they are on Sunday, which begin at 1:05 p.m. Single-game general admission tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.They are $10 plus any applicable fees. Fans who placed a deposit for season tickets will receive a discounted package. The Owlz began their inaugural season on the road Wednesday, May 25 in Great Falls, Montana, against the Great Falls Voyagers.
