e cannot say thank you enough. Thank you to all of the sponsors and donors for sticking with us and continuing your support of the event. Thank you to the volunteers that give so much of their time to make this event a success every year. Thank you to our staff and committee for the hard work and sleepless nights planning this celebration. And thank you to our guests and community for your patience and understanding as we work through one of the toughest years we have experienced. It’s the culmination of everyone’s effort and passion for the Greeley Stampede that we are able to make this event what it is.

Considering what we have all been through this last year, it’s time to get back to concerts, carnival lights and eight second rides. Most importantly, it’s time to get back with friends and family to celebrate being together again. This gives an event like the Greeley Stampede a deeper meaning and connection with the community.

The Stampede is more than arena events, tickets and food. This event is smiles, laughter and memories. All of which we have sorely missed.

Everyone at the Greeley Stampede has been working diligently to bring our community a celebration that they can feel safe and confident to attend. We have worked closely with local, county and state government over the last year to stay up-to-date on our guest safety. We are pleased with the progress our community has made and excited that all restrictions for outdoor events have been lifted. During the event, there will still be some modifications, but it will be the event you remember. It’s time Greeley. Welcome back to the Greeley Stampede.

The Greeley Stampede is a private event and management reserves the right to deny entry or eject guests displaying illegal, disrespectful or inappropriate behavior as determined by Greeley Stampede management in its sole judgment. Ejected guests will not receive a refund for their tickets or be compensated in any way.

Your presence on site is an implied consent for the Greeley Stampede to use your likeness for its publications and marketing purposes. Please inform the staff of any problems this presents.

Prohibited items, equipment and film will be confiscated immediately. The Greeley Stampede will not be liable for any damage, loss or theft of prohibited items.

• HONORARY GRAND MARSHALS AT THE GREELEY STAMPEDE • The Greeley Stampede Grand Marshals history has been filled with community leaders, volunteers and individuals that have had a significant impact on our community. It is a long standing tradition for the Stampede to name a Grand Marshal since 1954. In 2021, the Greeley Stampede is changing tradition and instead of choosing one or two individuals as Grand Marshals, all first responders, educators and health care workers will be recognized as Honorary Grand Marshals in 2021.

The last year has been difficult, but it is these individuals that have supported our community as pillars of strength, hope and patience. Their work has been difficult with unexpected obstacles and they rose to the challenge for us.

To recognize these groups, the Greeley Stampede has dedicated a rodeo performance to each of them to show appreciation for their hard work and sacrifices. The rodeo appreciation dates are: Friday, June 25 – First Responders Appreciation sponsored by First FarmBank & Michelob Ultra Monday, June 28 – Healthcare Appreciation sponsored by Banner Health Tuesday, June 29 – Military Appreciation sponsored by Les Schwab Tires & T-Mobile Wednesday, June 30 – Educator Appreciation sponsored by Aims Community College & JBS The Greeley Stampede will be offering one free park admission pass to all guests that show a proper ID on their respective appreciation day along with one free rodeo ticket to the first 250 individuals. • Hailey Frederiksen •

H

ailey Frederiksen is the 23-year-old daughter of Trevin and Megan Frederiksen. Originally from Platteville, Colorado, she currently resides in the Centennial town of Wellington, Colorado along with her parents. Growing up on her family’s ranch as an only child, Hailey’s strong passion for horses and the western way of life began at a very young age. Following in her mom’s footsteps, she started entering barrel races at the age of two, when then led her to compete in local saddle clubs and jackpots across the state. When she wasn’t in the saddle, Hailey was an active member of 4-H, showing market and breeding swine for ten consecutive years.

To enhance her strong voice and advocacy for agriculture, Hailey became a first generation college graduate, earning her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences with a concentration in Agricultural Business from Colorado State University, where she was among her peers as an Animal Science Steward.

With the ambition to earn her master’s, she plans to work within the agricultural industry and be a proponent of the western lifestyle. As the 64th Miss Rodeo Colorado, Hailey is eager to share her passion as she devotes her year to the promotion and education of rodeo and agriculture to inspire our youth and educate the public.

Hailey’s hobbies include barrel racing alongside her mom, watching her dad team rope, raising her pet chickens, dancing, hiking, learning new things and spending quality time with her family.

ordan Tierney, Miss Rodeo America 2020-2021, is from Oral, South Dakota. She is the 26-year-old daughter of PRCA World Champion and Hall of Famer, Paul Tierney, and Miss Rodeo South Dakota 1985, Robin Tierney. Jordan is a graduate of Chadron State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing.

Jordan competed for the title of Miss Rodeo America 2020 in December 2019 at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada as Miss Rodeo South Dakota 2019. In addition to being crowned Miss Rodeo America 2020, Jordan also won the Appearance category.

Due to the global pandemic and cancellation of the Miss Rodeo America 2021 Pageant, Jordan graciously accepted to continue reigning as Miss Rodeo America 2020-2021. This will be the first time since the inception of the Miss Rodeo America Pageant that the First Lady of Professional Rodeo will reign for two years.

During her reign as the official representative of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, Tierney will travel around 100,000 miles and appear at nearly 100 rodeo performances yearly, as well as making appearances at schools, civic groups, and other special events in order to educate the public and create awareness about the sport of rodeo, its sponsors, and the western way of life.

With more than two decades of experience in the industry, he is a veteran rodeo announcer who, since advancing to the PRCA ranks in 1994, has shared his style of announcing with rodeo fans in Montana and across the United States.

Beutler and Son Rodeo Co: Bennie Beutler was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colo., in July of 2010. The famed stock contractor from Elk City, Okla., is the third generation of Beutlers to be in the stock contracting business. A Colorado family that has been influential within the sport of rodeo and was the Stampede’s rodeo stock contractor from 19311958.

Former Miss Independence Stampede Queen, a 40+ year Wrangler volunteer member, former Miss Rodeo America board member, and longtime member of the Miss Rodeo Colorado board.

A strong community supporter and a former Greeley Stampede Committee member who was instrumental in the construction of the west grandstands project.

A founding member of the Wrangler volunteer organization and a former Greeley Stampede Committee member that was known for spending endless hours supporting the event.

Over the past 100 years, there have been many people that have made a valuable contribution to the success of the Greeley Stampede. Simply the act of so many people giving their time and resources has made the event what it is today. The Greeley Stampede Hall of Fame is established for the purpose of honoring individuals who have made significant and long-lasting contributions to the Greeley Stampede.

Inductees into the Hall of Fame may include, but not be limited to, volunteers, affiliated organizations, contract personnel, and others who have made a significant contribution to the success and prestige of the Greeley Stampede.

• 2021 Scholarship Recipients • Each year the Greeley Stampede Foundation awards scholarships to Northern Colorado high school seniors to support our community and students pursuing higher education. Since the Foundation began the program, more than $585,000 in scholarships have been awarded with $52,500 this year.

Recipients were selected based on their outstanding academic results, school involvement, leadership in the community, and plans to further their education. The selected 2021 Greeley Stampede Foundation High School Academic Scholarship recipients represent 11 Weld County High Schools with each student receiving $2,500. The Foundation Board is proud to help these community minded students build a bright future for themselves and, as a result, our community.

For the seventh year, one college-level rodeo scholarship was awarded based on academic results and competitive level with the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. The 2021 recipient is Amanda Terrell who attends Northeastern Junior College and is pursuing a major in Agriculture Communications.

Also recognized by the Foundation with a scholarship is 2020-2021 Miss Rodeo Colorado, Hailey Frederiksen. As Miss Rodeo Colorado, Hailey has dedicated herself to represent the state of Colorado, the sport of rodeo, and the Greeley Stampede as the home rodeo of the Miss Rodeo Colorado Pageant.
