Birch Elementary is a neighborhood school offering a wide scope of learning opportunities and a variety of instructional strategies to meet the learning styles of its individual students. Community Montessori is a focus school and the only public Montessori school in Boulder Valley School District. Community Montessori serves children from preschool through fifth grade. Crest View

Crest View is a neighborhood school that serves a large area of north Boulder represented by a over 40 countries in our community. The school uses personalized education programs to encourage the highest academic achievement and student growth. Crest View students are afforded multiple learning opportunities in the maker space and through mindfulness lessons. It offers a wide variety of programs for special-needs students, talented and gifted and English language learners. A long-standing peer mediation program as well as Garden to Table has received state recognition. Crest View also received national awards for the creation of “Habitat,” a natural learning environment attached to the school playground. Creekside Elementary School at Martin Park, located in south Boulder, is a dynamic neighborhood school hosting an international student population. Boulder Valley School District K-12 Peak to Peak Charter

Peak to Peak is a liberal arts, college preparatory school designed for graduates to exceed entrance requirements of top colleges and universities. High expectations are an important part of the school culture, and each student is seen as an individual of great potential and promise. Students are challenged through appropriate placement in each subject. Character development is an integral part of all aspects of the school. Peak to Peak’s elementary school uses ability grouping and differentiation to meet student needs. Accelerated classes are offered beginning in first grade to students showing prior mastery of grade level content. Teachers intentionally design learning experiences to address the whole child, including daily discussion of social-emotional learning, alternative seating options, and movement integration within each classroom throughout the day. Peak to Peak’s middle school offers a small-school environment with a challenging sequence of standard and honors courses in core academic areas along with a rich variety of electives to prepare students for Peak to Peak’s challenging high school program. The middle school also offers students an opportunity to participate in an array of extracurricular activities and athletics. High Peaks is an award-winning Core Knowledge focus school where teachers use creative art, drama, reading/writing workshops, and collaboration. Core Knowledge is a planned progression of specific content in social studies, language arts, and the fine arts, and we offer differentiated math opportunities, based on specific student needs, for KG-6th grade levels. High Peaks is one of only two elementary schools in Colorado to receive a National Blue Ribbon Award twice and is also a multi-year John J. Irwin School of Excellence. High Peaks Elementary School has the highest 2016-2017 PARCC testing scores in the Boulder Valley School District in every grade for both math and language arts.
