Burlington High School Class of 2024 held their commencement ceremony Sunday, May 19 in the ‘Pit’. The high school band kicked off the ceremony with the playing of “Pomp and Circumstance” during the processional, followed by the National Anthem.
Kirsten Burghart gives the invocation to start things off. She stepped in for Lauren Hays, Salutatorian, who was missing due to state golf.

Shane Walkinshaw, superintendent welcomed graduates, friends, and family.
The Class of 2024 Valedictorian was Kaitlyn Tracy who stood up and gave a touching and motivational speech to her classmates. She then introduced the classes chosen speaker Brady Hull.
Brady Hull, host of “The Hull Show” a radio sports talk/ news show was the speaker for the ceremony. A native of eastern Colorado, Hull lived in Araphahoe and attended Cheyenne Wells High School.
