Learn How to Teach Your Dogs From Their Viewpoint

THURSDAYS, JUNE 1 – 29, 12:30 P.M.
Keystone Room
Understanding how dogs learn best will enable you to teach them many behaviors. This is much more fun for both you and your dog. You will learn not only how to teach your dog to respond to basic commands for walking with me, sit, down, etc., but also how the dog can take responsibility for their basic manners. “Manners” in our context means your dog knows what to do with no specific command from you (e.g. I stop at a curb and my dog does not run into the street, or I stop to talk to someone and my dog remains by my side and does not run to jump on them). Contact Carole Artim at caroleartim@ gmail.com or Mike Artim at michaelartim@gmail. com for more information and a training class application. Sponsored by the MV Pet Club.
