Introducing Our New Executive Director PPH is pleased to announce the promotion of Kyle Ozimkiewicz to Executive Director.

Kyle brings 11 years of experience at PPH, having served in several clinical and leadership roles, including Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing, Nursing Home Administrator, and most recently Executive Director with EverTrue, PPH's management company.

"Kyle's experience, leadership, and dedication make him the right person to build on PPH's strong foundation," said Kelli Mills, former PPH Executive Director and current Vice President of Operations for EverTrue.

A lifelong Philadelphian and University of Pennsylvania nursing graduate, Kyle is committed to supporting PPH's team members and enhancing the resident experience.

Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, traveling, and volunteering as a youth swim coach.

Please join us in congratulating Kyle on his new role and wishing him continued success as he leads PPH into the future.

A fun summer night out in the PPH Courtyard

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful summer evening at a special Summer Luau dinner courtesy of Chef Rey and Chef Demetrios of Culinary Services. The island-inspired menu featured Kālua Pork Musubi, Huli Huli Chicken with grilled pineapple, Island-Style Macaroni Salad, and Haupia with passionfruit reduction.

The PPH Tech Connect Team, made up of techsavvy resident volunteers, provides friendly, neighbor-to-neighbor assistance with everyday technology questions. Whether you need help with a computer, smartphone, tablet, email or internet browsing, the Team is here to help residents in all levels of care.

To submit a request, please leave a detailed voicemail at #8602. A Tech Connect volunteer will return your call within two business days. The service is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, excluding weekends and holidays.

For more complex technical issues, the Tech Connect Team may escalate inquiries to PPH’s IT Department or suggest next steps for resolving the issue. Please note that in-person services provided by the IT Department may be subject to applicable fees.

Team member recognized for exceptional service PPH's newest Guardian Angel is India Langford of the Culinary Services department!

India was nominated by a group of PPH residents (pictured from left to right): Maxine Littlepage, Charna Heiko, Dorothy Behm, Marge Brooker, Carol Drummond and Dolores Shaw.

The group, who often dines together, wanted to recognize India's hard work, friendly demeanor and exceptional service. Pictured on the far right is Executive Director Kyle Ozimkiewicz, who attended his first Guardian Angel recognition ceremony in his new role.

"When it comes to service with a smile, friendliness, efficiency and helpfulness, just call her name — 'India.' We residents are so grateful for your service, whether in Scoops, the Bistro or the Main Dining Room."

Residents, PPH leadership and members of the Culinary Services team gathered to celebrate India and her well-deserved recognition.

Also in attendance was India's sister, Ciani, an Activity Coordinator in PPH's Life Enrichment department.

Meet Our Newest Residents Mary Gorman moved to PPH's Lawndale building from the Northwood/ Frankford neighborhood.

Mary grew up in nearby West Oak Lane, and attended Olney High School. She worked as a supermarket manager.

Mary has two daughters — one who lives nearby and another in North Carolina. She also has three granddaughters, who have enjoyed visiting grandmom and hanging out by the Koi pond.

Mary is pleased to be at PPH. She enjoys reading and putting together jigsaw puzzles.

Thomas Walsh recently moved to PPH's Gateway building from the nearby Burholme section of Northeast Philadelphia.

Thomas grew up in North Philly, near Temple

University, and attended Roman Catholic High School. He went on to serve in the Korean War as a tank driver, and worked in the construction field.

Thomas has many family members that he enjoys spending time with — four generations of family between 64 years and two months old have visited him at PPH. He enjoys eating breakfast in the Dining area many mornings.

He's interested in horse racing, is currently takes online courses in calculus and is studying the advancement of AI. Jeffrey Tripple recently moved to PPH's Gateway building from Spartanburg, S.C. Jeffrey grew up in the nearby Oxford Circle neighborhood of Northeast Philly and attended Northeast High School. He worked as a machinist.

Jeffrey enjoys Philadelphia sports and Hallmark movies. He has three sons and six grandchildren.

Janice and David Cooper recently moved to PPH's Gateway building from Northwood, an area in the nearby Frankford section of Northeast Philadelphia.

David grew up in Philly, but Janice is from western N.Y. David attended Edison High School, and Janet attended Eden High School in N.Y. and Missouri College.

The Coopers enjoy churchrelated activities — the two met at church. They enjoy watching old movies on TV, swimming, bocce, bowling, and listening to music. They have been married for 20 years and cite their honeymoon in Jamacia as a favorite memory.

The Coopers have one daughter and one grandson.

David is a vital support to the team, maintaining a positive outlook under pressure. He consistently demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
