PPH, LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

As PPH rose to the challenges that were presented in 2020, it became clear that the time to reinvent and reimagine the community was imminent.

From PPH’s humble roots of providing food and shelter to its aging parishioners, to the 21st century and beyond, planning for the future is critical to remaining a leader in the senior living industry.

Today’s seniors are looking for more than safety, security, and care. High-end amenities, health and wellness opportunities, choice, superior dining experiences, smart-home technology, and an inclusive and environmentally conscious community are just some of the expectations of current and future residents.

As PPH moves through the master planning process, the needs and expectations of the current market, as well as our local competitors, will help to shape the direction of the community moving forward.

Possible master plan projects include:

• Larger Personal Care suites

• Enhanced dining venues

• An increased number of two-bedroom apartments in Independent Living

• Enhanced residential lounges and common spaces

• Skilled nursing specialty care

The Strengthening Connections campaign kick-started the campuswide Wi-Fi project, a necessary improvement to the community’s technology infrastructure. Once completed, this project will support new telehealth software as well as the ability for residents to virtually connect to their loved ones seamlessly. It will truly be a foundation from which we can build a stronger, safer community.

In looking to the future, we conducted a market and competitive analysis to lay the groundwork for a master plan. PPH’s Visionary Committee of the Board of Directors will be instrumental in utilizing this information as we look to identify the priorities for the upcoming master plan.
