style Choosing the right
The exterior creates the first impression and sets the scene for the rest of your home. Streetscape and kerb appeal are important, but most of all we want you to be house proud, so pick a colour you are happy to come home to!
View the exterior of your house as a whole, as there are various elements of the house you need to consider – walls, eaves, doors, window frames, gutters, downpipes – but also other features such as fences, gates, letterboxes and driveways that help tie your home’s exterior look together.
You can use colour to highlight architectural features or to create contrast and layers. Try varying shades of the one colour, or for a bolder look, contrast lighter shades with darker tones.

If you really want to get a feel for how a colour will work, grab some Sample Pots and test it out on a couple of di erent walls that have di erent lighting during the day so you can see how the colour looks and how it suits the surroundings.
