Goldmark Magazine - Number 34 - Autumn 2024 - 64 pages
2026 is almost upon us; another year flies by the gallery at breakneck speed. Winter issues of our magazine afford a brief moment of reflection on projects past, and a glimpse of what’s to come. We managed to put on four shows by Japanese potters this year, something we’ve never done before, ending with our eighth show of pots by the revered Ken Matsuzaki, whose Shino wares you’ll find illustrating this issue.
2025 also marks five years since Phil Rogers, the man who introduced us to Ken, passed away all too soon. His irrepressible spirit remains with us in the extraordinary pots he left behind him, also celebrated here.
As for next year, we have a calendar quickly filling up with major exhibitions and live music. Do keep an eye out for what’s to come. In the meantime, we hope the New Year brings you every joy.
