More young people seek help BY KEVIN SMITH kevin.smith@sussexpost.co.uk HOUSING problems are causing more younger people to turn to a help centre in Chichester An increasing number of those aged under 44 have sought assistance from the Citizens Advice. Difficulties in obtaining a home or with a property landlord are one of the

main reasons they have asked for advice. State benefits also feature highly in their requests. A limited number also want help with dealing with debts they feel have got out of control. Arun and Chichester Citizens Advice chief executive Luca Badioli said: “I feel this is a good thing. We have been able to reach young people more than ever. “We have new ways for them to contact us – like webchats, emails and social media. Perhaps because of

those changes, it’s easier for them to approach us using their computers and smartphones. “The issues they ask us to help with tend to be one-off.
