St Wilfrid's Hospice launches fundraising campaign

Make our dream a reality! ruth.scammell@sussexpost.co.uk IT'S been 30 years since St Wilfrid's Hospice opened. Over the years it has provided specialist end of life care to thousands of patients. Now, on its 30th anniversary, it is launching its bid to raise £4 million

to build a brand new hospice to care for even more people. The community is being asked to lend their support to the campaign. Yesterday, staff, volunteers and supporters gathered at the site of the new hospice on a piece of land on Walton Lane, Bosham. The new site will have more than 50 per cent more useable space. It will enable the hospice to improve

outpatient care, support more patients on the ward and out in the community and provide the privacy and dignity patients and their families need. Chief executive Alison Moorey said: "It's absolutely fantastic. It's amazing to think what has been achieved and the thousands of people we have helped over the years.
