SAJID Javid has given the go-ahead for the scheme to stop Pagham from flooding. THe government's secretary of state for communities and local government agreed the £750,000 community project met all the environmental rules for the sensitive site. His decision, revealed on Tuesday, means work could start to reverse the erosion on Pagham Beach this autumn.
