Welcome to the 2014 Pender County Business Expo in conjunction with The Burgaw Area Chamber of Commerce and The Pender-Topsail Post & Voice.

Sponsors include Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, Pender County Farm Bureau and Four County Electric Membership Corporation.

October 9, 2014 starting at 11:00 until 6:00 products and services from local Pender County businesses will be featured at the annual Pender County Business Expo. It will be held at the historic Burgaw Train Depot located at 115 South Dickerson St in Downtown Burgaw. Small businesses are a crucial element to the success of our local economy. The Expo provides a unique opportunity for locals to explore what area businesses offer and to initiate valuable business contact.

This FREE event is conveniently located in Burgaw’s historic district and will include small businesses, govern-

ment entities such as health care, insurance, retail and other items of interest. The Pender County Health Department will be giving flu shots at their booth. All insurance providers are accepted so do not forget your card. Out of pocket the cost will be $35.00 for regular and $55.00 for higher dose which is given to age 65 and older.

Spider Mike will be providing live entertainment.

Of course you can walk down the street to have coffee at Brown Dog Coffee, eat some delicious fudge made at Burgaw Antique Place, shop at The Nifty Place, have lunch at Alley Cat’s or have dinner at Bandana’s Restaurant and visit other business in our town.

Be sure to stop by our booth to enter for a door prize and pick up your gift bag to fill with goodies from the other vendors.

We look forward to seeing you at the Annual Pender County Business Expo.
