Tips to Avoid the School-Time Rush The carefree days of summer have come to a close. While some parents are jumping for joy, others view this time of year as hectic and stressful. Look back at the previous years. Do you run around like crazy, maybe even starting work late? Or do you find that your stress level is elevated because of searching for lost keys and soccer gear? Then, now is the time to pave the way to a great year by setting up an organized routine and an organized household for you and your kids The key is to have everyone in the household involved in the daily tasks. Encourage independence. Let your children help in whatever age-appropriate tasks they can. The more kids are involved in the household, the less strain there is on you. Here are tips for reducing your anxiety level and making the school days run smoothly. Ensure Each Child Has a Task List The list should include all of the activities that need to be accomplished in order to be ready for a great day at school. The list helps you provide structure without having to nag your child. Feel free to customize each child’s list by adding or deleting tasks as appropriate. Empty backpack Each child should empty their own backpack into a simple system. Consider using a plastic vertical file that hangs on a wall next to your backpack storage. Designate a specific spot for each child as well as a “Right Now” spot. The “Right Now” spot is for any paperwork or homework that would require immediate attention (notes from the teacher, items for the parents to sign, permission slips, etc.) This provides you some guarantee that notes and papers get to you in a timely manner. Parents remember to review the files daily! Put backpack away There should be a designated spot in your home for backpacks. This could be a hallway bench, hooks in a garage, shelves in a laundry room or any location close to where the children will be exiting the house. By placing the backpack near the door before bedtime, you eliminate the mad rush backpack search in the morning.

Have a designated study area Just where and when a child should do their homework depends on the child, but again, it should be a part of the routine. Make sure that each child has a designated study area – not at the kitchen table or the computer desk (when possible). Ensure that they can spread out their materials and preferably it should be away from the T.V. and radio. While some students work well at a kitchen table around noise, most require quiet, low-traffic areas to study. You may need to try a few different areas before you find the one that works best for your child. Do homework & put in backpack This may seem obvious, but often, kids notify their parents about assignments as they are being tucked in for bed. By including it on the assignment chart, it is harder to overlook. Each child should have a designated study time. It does not matter if you are an adolescent or an adult, you benefit from a routine. Make lunch Even if your child is too young to make his/her lunch by themselves, they should be able to help pack fruit, beverage, dessert or chips. By making lunches the previous evening you will have one less thing to do on the morning. Choose clothes Teach your child to listen to the weather forecast for the next day so that they can pick out appropriate clothing. Make a rule that they must stick with their clothing choice the next morning – no stalling because they did not feel like wearing what they chose the night before. Pack for extracurricular activities This might include sports equipment, band instruments, or field trip extras. Closing Avoid power struggles by letting children make small decisions. Encourage independence. The more kids are involved in the household, the less strain there is on the entire family. What do you do to set your kids up for success? Share your ideas here!

The Back to School Workout Guide

and reduce your risk of injury.

Ok, the kids are back in school and it is time for you to allow some time for yourself. You’ve spent the summer taking care of everyone else and now it’s your turn. I’d like to give you a few tips on what not to do, if starting a new weight training program or continuing with an old program. The main thing is performing the exercises correctly. It’s easy to get it wrong without the proper instruction. Avoiding these exercise errors will help you achieve your goals

1. SPEEDING THROUGH YOUR WORKOUT. Strength exercises are a lot easier when you go fast because momentum is doing a lot of the work. To get the most out of each lift, aim for an even level of force throughout the movement. Think slow and controlled. The standard 2-3 second lift and 3-4 seconds release works well for most people. Recommended rest between sets varies with the training goal and workload: 30-90 seconds for general fitness, 2-5 minutes for muscular strength and power. With adequate recovery time between sets, you will replenish the muscle energy stores to give your best effort. 2. DOING TRADITIONAL SIT-UPS FOR YOUR MID-SECTION. I know you have seen many fitness enthusiasts drop down and crank out hundreds of sit-ups in a single workout. Unfortunately, they are setting them selves up for injury. This type of exercise can put stress on your discs. Let’s go with exercises that require your spine to stabilize the movement. Such as side planks, forward curls and bird-dogs, for more balanced workouts.

3. NOT MOVING THROUGH A COMPLETE RANGE OF THE MOTION. Attempting to lift a weight that is too heavy can reduce the range of motion of the exercise. For optimal strength gains, use a weight that you can move through a complete range of motion with slight pause at the end of the positive and negative phase of the exercise. 4.DOING THE SAME OLD WORKOUT OVER, AND OVER AGAIN. If you have not changed up your fitness routine in months or years, its time! Challenging your muscles with progressive loads is essential for building a better body. It‘s very easy to get comfortable with your favorite workout. However, your workout should not be comfortable if you want to improve your strength and endurance. It should be work and a little uncomfortable. Finally, you can’t get in shape in one day but you can work hard in one day.

10 Steps to Getting and Staying Fit and Fabulous! 1. Focus on long term success, not short term goals. 2. Don’t enter into programs that focus on quick results. 3. The key to fitness success is not found in a pill. Working hard and consistent good habits will give you the results. 4. Two hundred crunches will not do much to get rid of body fat around your mid section. Burn it off! 5. Intensity, not duration will provide the best results in weight training and cardiovascular workouts. 6. Nutrition is a big part of your road to success. You have to find what works for you and your lifestyle. 7. If your goal is to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume over a period of time. Stick to total body workouts to burn as many calories as you can. 8. Be very conscious of how many calories you take in at every meal. Over eating can derail any good workout program. 9. Make sure that the way you train and eat, supports your goals. Whether to gain or lose weight, you need the correct program. 10. If you’re not getting the results you want with your workout, hire a trainer. A good trainer will ask you to do things that you will not do on your own or can’t do on your own.

Finally, keep moving people‌..everything is possible!

10 Biggest Mistakes

Most Small Business Owners Make

For those of you entering the business world or maybe it’s your major in school. Take notes and learn all you can in business school; not the school of hard knocks! Our finance expert, Ellen Springer gives you the real deal for the real world! This 2 part series will certainly get you on the right road. Embrace 1-5 NOW!

c. d. e. f. g.

1. Using Credit Cards to Finance Cash Flow a. Short Term Financing for Long-Term Purchases b. High Interest Rates

Easy to Get Easy to miss payments and can cause increase in interest rates upwards of 30% Easy to purchase today and worry about paying tomorrow Monthly payments add up and can strap a business’ cash flow Need to use only in emergency situations and not on a regular basis.

2. Using Debit Cards to Finance Cash Flow a. Comes out of your account within 24-72 hours b. Check online and sometimes it is out of available balance and sometimes instead of maintaining a checkbook balance, easy to make mistakes in timing and bounce checks and incur fees c. If you have account number on file with vendors, may not know when dollars will come out of your account, so difficult to manage cash flow d. If the business has Accounts Receivable, you don’t know when you will collect on them, so you are financing the receivables when you pay for everything up front instead of using credit like your customers are using with you e. If you have to purchase items for customers that are buying from you on credit, you are financing the customer instead of using your own credit. f. This will slow the growth of the business because you are using cash earlier than you should instead of using “good” credit options. 3. Using Family and Friends as Employees a. Hard to fire b. Don’t always have skills needed c. Feelings get hurt easier 1 © 2007-11 copyright, all rights reserved, Ellen Springer, MBA, CPA www.ProfitShip.com

d. Bring prior baggage with you with them e. If there are issues with them, with the company, other employees or with customers, it complicates basic business decisions; and delays the ultimate growth and success of the business until these are resolved. 4. No Accounting System a. Difficult to manage without information b. You must have good information to make good decisions c. Don’t know what the actual income or loss to determine taxes until after the year is over and it may be too late to make changes to reduce the taxes. d. Spend more time later trying to “clean up” the accounting system and it is too late to use information to manage, can only put on a tax return. e. If the accounting system is kept up, it can be modified along the way and save you money f. Most people don’t keep up with their accounting system because they don’t understand how to do it, when most programs are relatively easy to use and the business owner does not have to know debits and credits. Taking a few hours to set up and learn the system can save many hours later and costly mistakes for not having timely information. g. Takes time to learn something new and they would rather focus on what they enjoy doing instead, so this doesn’t get done h. They don’t put value on it, and don’t allocate dollars to have someone else do for them as it is not directly income producing as a sale is i. In reality, a good accounting system, can save a business owner money and allow them to be more responsive to the market place. 5. Not Enough Technology a. Spend too much time doing simple things that could be automated, letters, follow up emails, to dos, calendar b. Networks in office instead of everyone saving files on their own computers c. No backups, in case hard drives go down d. Old technology is slow and time is wasted waiting on the computer.

Fabulous Fall Hair

Embrace the Season, Embrace Your Mane! As great as summer can be, I always embrace the season changing. Hot humid days are replaced by a cool breeze and crisp night air. It is the season of change. Remember as a kid going shopping for new school clothes, the nervous excitement of a new school year, and the back to school hair cut? It was like having a chance to start over and getting ready for the new seasons coming. It was all about moving forward and yes, change. Fall is a great time to reinvent your look. You do it with your wardrobe, why not your hair? End of summer hair has a tendency to be long, out of shape and the color has been worked over by sun and fun. Here are a couple questions to help you determine whether it’s time for a new look. Answer them honestly and you’ll know if it applies to you. Do you wear your hair in a ponytail more often than not? Are you finding you have to over compensate or change your make-up in order to feel like you look good? Do you find it hard to determine if the picture you’re looking at was from 5 years ago or last summer because your hair looks the same? When you go to the salon is it just about maintenance? Do you consult with your stylist/colorist, or has it just become routine?

It’s difficult to see ourselves from the outside, as others do. That’s why it’s important to find a good stylist/colorist that you can trust. You should be consulting with them every few visits. Is this color still working? Is this style dated? What are my options? They should help keep you current and looking your best. Look through current pictures of color and your stylist/colorist will work and what’s love when clients bring chocolate brown to her medium golden brown. how they see color. enhance your skin as a great cut should shape and features. Changing hairdressers can be a scary prospect. When considering changing salons or hairdressers, get recommendations from friends, colleagues or the teller at the bank whose hair you’ve always admired. Take the recommendations and call the salon to see if you need to make an appointment for a consultation. Often times you can just stop by for a consult. Consultations should be free! A colorist or stylist should spend time to consult with you. Do not feel rushed into making a decision. If you like what they say, make an appointment for the following week. They should consult again with you when you come if for your appointment. If they are saying something different than previous discussed, you feel uncomfortable or there seems to be a disconnect in communication, GET OUT OF THE CHAIR! Do not feel obligated to have a service done just because you made an appointment. It’s a special relationship you develop with the person doing your hair. Refresh, Restore, Renew-Your Sundried Skin As school begins, vacation time and summer come to an end. It is now time to focus on rejuvenating our skin from that summer blast of the heat and sun. The sun and heat has pulled the moisture from the skin leaving it dry and dehydrated. Refresh, restore and rejuvenate your skin with a great exfoliation performed by a professional skincare therapist who can give your skin a fresh, vibrant, healthy appearance. A professional skin care therapist can help you reach the goal of restoring your skin from the summer heat and sun. Let’s look at some options that are available. Exfoliation of the skin is the most important step to revitalizing that parched, dry, dehydrated skin. With the help of a professional skin therapist they will advise you in different types of exfoliating treatments such as microdermabrasion, hydrodermabrasion, ultrasonic treatments, chemical peels or enzyme peels; that will provide the best results in your quest for restoration of the skin. Day spas and medical spas all perform different types of facials utilizing exfoliation with chemical peels, enzyme peels and different modalities. Modalities are equipment-using electricity such as microdermabrasion, hydrodermabrasion and ultrasonic. All of these are forms of exfoliation with different techniques, providing the recovery of healthy skin. However, there are clients who are unable to use modalities because of medical history. In selecting the best treatment for your skin, the therapist will perform a skin evaluation to determine the condition of the skin and then determine the type exfoliation procedure for the results desired. Microdermabrasion can be described as a polishing of the skin, by vacuuming fine crystals over the face with special machine. Using a held hand piece that removes the dead skin and disposes the dead cells in a disposal canister. The benefit of this particular treatment is a deep exfoliation by removing the dead cells and allowing the new cells to reveal themselves leaving the skin refreshed, healthy and ready to receive the nourishment for the skin. Another treatment that is very beneficial to removing those unwanted dead skin cells is Hydrodermabrasion. This type of exfoliation uses saline water, solution and serums that spray at high velocity and infusing other ingredients over the face loosing and removing the dead cells. The treatment is recommended for individuals with sensitive skin however all skin types can benefit from this treatment.

The Ultrasonic is another method that can be used to remove dead cells from the skin using sound waves at a low frequency, cleansing the skin, and product penetration. The skin care professionals will make the best decision based on what the client wants to accomplish with their skin and explain why a particular exfoliant was chosen for the client. Professional skin care therapists can offer a variety of treatments to help calm, soothe and restore hydration; while adding resilience to the skin. In many instances, modalities are unable to be used. Therefore, the use of chemical peels including alphadroxy acids such as glycolic, lactic and betahydroxy salicylic acids are used; help to improve the appearance of fine lines, rough texture, wrinkles, clogged pores and improve the cell renewal. A series of treatments will help you revitalize your skin from that summer heat and sun. the the used or

Enzymes a natural exfoliant, actually dissolve protein in dead cells. They also provide many of same benefits as chemical peels; and can be if there are contraindications for using modalities chemicals.

A professional skin care therapist can assist you in achieving vibrant, glowing, healthy skin through a series of facials, designed for you. Selecting an exfoliation procedure to incorporate into the facial, will show you how important regular visits with your skin therapist are. Following a home care program between visits is crucial to achieving beautiful skin. As we go into the fall and winter seasons, we must not only prepare our face, but our entire body. Skin is our protective covering and we must be very protective of it. With a little tender love and care, healthy, vibrant skin is possible. Be sure to have the products needed to maintain healthy skin. Your professional skin care therapist will provide you with a prescription of products best suited for your skin type and condition. Now is the time to restore and refresh your skin, from the perils of the summer heat and sun.

Trends for FALL 2011

I LOVE Fall! It conjures up wonderful images and feelings for me. It’s a new beginning: a new school year for many; a new season of art exhibits; a new cooler weather season; and a new season of fashion and beauty trends. Fall is a time to take stock of the year coming up and make a great plan—a “Seize the Day” plan with a fearless kind of optimism about all that is POSSIBLE. Fall is a time to reflect on how we want to be perceived by the world around us. We all love to feel confident and part of feeling confident in any business or social setting is when you know you are dressed well—dressed better than you have to be. So as you look at your schedule for the Fall; whether you have a job outside the home every day or if your job is running your home and going to various school functions, think about what you wear! How terrific is it to overhear or even have someone tell you directly that you always look great? Yves St. Laurent said “Fashions fade; style is eternal.” Therefore the goal of stylish dressing is to feel confident about what you are wearing and be light-hearted about it. You may not have been born with a sense of style, but you can create it. The big design houses introduced their Fall lines last Spring (for the fashion world). In our fast-paced world, every other clothing manufacturer in every price range will have their own version of the “Hot Fall Trends.” This is a wonderful thing! No matter what your budget is, you can look modern and fashionable. Fashion is accessible to everyone no matter your style, age, shape or size. Emphasize your best parts! A change in the season is a great time to look in your closet and really look at what’s there. You may find an item from several years ago that is back in style. Worn a different way or with a new accessory, it could be right out of a magazine. But, don’t hold on to clothes if they don’t make you look and feel terrific. Give them to a charity and treat yourself to something new. And don’t ever let anyone talk you into buying something you don’t love.

VIVID COLOR: Beautiful jewel tones that really look great on everyone: Wine, red, royal blue, jade green, royal purple. Big botanicals are terrific in these beautiful colors. Take a risk out of your comfort zone!

GLAMOUR: The term is “lady like”—think Audrey Hepburn, or Grace Kelly, but with a modern twist. Wonderful daytime dresses are in style and the hemline is just below the knee (yea!). Shimmer is big—satin and sequins. LEATHER: Is always “hot” for Fall. But this year it shows up as sleeves on a sweater, or paired with lace.

emerald green.

COLOR BLOCKING: Think plum/grey/navy, or red/black/cream, or royal blue with

FUR: Another staple for Fall. This season it’s on everything from shoes to bags to collars to sleeves. Shearling is also popular. Faux is also a great way to go! GREY:A fabulous neutral. It’s lovely and cool alone but has a WOW factor when paired with those vivid jewel tones! JEANS: We all need a wardrobe of jeans. High-waisted, flared, skinny, boot cut, washed out, dark and colors (like red or green). They are all great. ACCESSORIES: Shoes: pumps with chunky heals, booties, boots, ballet flats Coats: beyond function into fashion statements Bags: ladylike handheld, and across the body shoulder bags Jewelry: gold Stockings: textured Makeup: face - red lips, strong brows, nails - grey, army green, gold and as always, red! Style Inspiration Who inspired your style? us has or had a woman in You know what I mean. always so pulled together, that could walk into a room without even trying. Was it aunt, sister, cousin, teacher, a few of them? Men this goes for you too! Style isn’t gender specific. Think about it. Every one of our lives that totally had “it”. The woman who was so impeccably groomed, and make an entrance your mother, grandmother,

The beauty salons and barber shops of days gone by are reminiscent of a more elegant time. A time when the focus really could be you without all of the distractions we deal with today. I’d like to think that those days are closer than we think. I know they are. What images helped to shape the person you’ve become. If you’ve lost sight of that, find a way to get it back. I promise that it’s in that place where you’ll find the perfect base for your style platform. Everything comes full circle. Styles in clothing, hair, makeup, etc. have a way of coming around again. Some things we’ve seen a few times. Prepare for your own style transformation. Find ways to incorporate some old images and put a new spin on it…..yours! I love the whole idea of a transformation. There are physical transformations, spiritual transformations and definitely style transformations.

Thank You All of us at POSSIBLE were thrilled to have Penny Morriss featured on the cover of our first issue. Not only is she an outstanding business woman, but she uses her life to make a difference as well. Below is a story of one of the many ways she does just that. It’s the perfect follow up for our Back to School Issue and showing how we can make a difference all year round. She is one sensational lady! Camp CEO Success in Second Year MABLETON, GA. (June 8, 2011)— Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, Inc. concluded the second annual Camp CEO last Saturday, at which 30 Atlanta area senior executive businesswomen were matched with teen Girl Scouts to create mentor/mentee teams. The four-day leadership development camping event was held from June1-4 at Camp Timber Ridge in Mableton. “Camp CEO is an exciting program bringing together executive women leaders with teen Girl Scouts to discover what it takes to become a CEO or senior executive,” says Marilyn Midyette, chief executive officer, Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. “The Girl Scout mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character who will make the world a better place. Camp CEO fulfills that mission. We connected our girls with accomplished businesswomen who are not only committed to a life of success, but to a life of significance,” adds Midyette. Penny Morriss, president and owner, Concierge Services of Atlanta was among the executives in attendance. She was paired with Ifetayo Olutosin, a sophomore at Roswell High School in Roswell, Georgia. Activities and team building programs at Camp CEO included: “Dreaming Your Future” in which the executives shared life lessons in leadership with the girls; lessons in fiscal responsibility; building a personal brand; and speed networking. Also included were perennial Girl Scout traditions such as canoeing and making S’mores around the campfire. “I came to share my experiences with my mentee about the importance of being a leader and giving back,” said Penny Morriss. “And, I was impressed to learn that Girl Scouts are already leaders. With my support, my mentee will be armed with more tools to assist her on her leadership path.” Camp CEO is an annual event held each summer. Senior executive women and Girl Scouts, grades 9-12, from the 34 county metro Atlanta Regions may apply. Future dates and more information can be found at www.gsgatl.org. POSSIBLE Beauty Hi Dolls! It’s Ms. Rae again coming at you with the Possible Fall Make-Up Tips for 2011! That’s right, it’s that time again for back to school, PTA, soccer practice, pep rallies and holidays parties. Well I always say ‘Never let them see you sweat!’ and here are some possible tips to help you do just that. There are a lot of brands out there to try. Whatever you choose, choose something that screams YOU!!! The trick is to pick a few ideas to add on to your own look. You is bdon’t want to be anything on a naked face, that is a face without a good cleanser and moisturizer. My favorite is Mary Kay’s Time Wise set, but by all means use what works for you. Tip 1: No more bronzer for your cheeks! 2011 fall is flush fall! Natural glow is a hit this season and you don’t have to over do it, a little dab will do. Blush comes in powder, creams, and airbrush. The choice is all yours. But you do want to apply a highlighter lightly on the top of your cheekbones to give you that soft glow look. Where can you find them? Any and everywhere! However, if you like then I love it doll. This choice is all yours. Tip 2: Say it with me: LASHES! That’s right doll, lashes are a hit this season. If applied correctly you may not even want let alone need a liner. You could go with the glam look and work the falsies or work your own with a lash curler. Apply one to two coats starting from base to the top, then clamp down for 4 to 5 seconds and repeat all the way up to the top. You will be surprised; to say the least at what mama already supplied you with.

Tip 3: Believe it or not ladies but ol’ smoky eye is still alive and kicking. To achieve the smoky look you want to apply a thin layer under the bottom lid and blend to the outer corner. Which color??? Think warm. Tip 4: Lips! Classic red has season. The rule of thumb look I wouldn’t try it without burgundy/wine shade and red lipstick or gloss to

Tips 5: Simple Shadows green, even purple. Lets say than you would choose metallic gold. Apply, blend forget the finishing touches!

a few new shades this to this is, think wine! With this a liner. Line your lips with a color in. Then either run a create a look all in your own. Now this is perfect for a school residual night or night out with the beau. You want to keep the neutral look for your face. A thin liner, simple shadow, mascara, red lipstick and viola! A masterpiece in under three minutes. Season! Try gold, hunter you have a tweed suit on burgundy or green and a and you’re done. Don’t

All Things Are POSSIBLE From the House of Anelda Guest I have a beautiful and talented sister who is constantly reminding me that all things are possible if we only believe. She reassures me of this as I scurry around trying to fulfill my commitments as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, student, teacher, employee, etc. I’m sure you can relate. With school back in session and all the added activities and responsibilities; my personal life goal of being the perfect Proverbs 31 woman seems like a pipe dream. Let’s take a look at that job description: Proverbs 31: 10-30: 10

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 12 14

She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

15

She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. 16

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 17

She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

18

She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. 19 20

She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

21

She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. 22

She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

23

Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land 24

25

26

She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Her strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. 28

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. 29

Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Since we are all works in progress I am not going to give up on this goal. I am also truly a ‘Girl Raised In The South (GRITS) kind of girl. As such, food is a very high priority. Making a quick meal on a busy night, for unexpected guests, or taking a hot meal over to a friend in distress is something that brings great joy to me. It even lets me dream that I might have attained at least some qualities of that Proverbs 31 woman! I would like to share one of my favorite quick and easy recipes with you.

Southern Tomato Pie

vegetable oil 1 cup grated mozzarella 1 cup grated cheddar 1 cup mayonnaise

1 (9-inch) prebaked deep dish pie shell 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled OR ½ cup real bacon bits 4 tomatoes, peeled and sliced OR 14.5 oz. can of diced tomatoes, drain 10 fresh basil leaves, chopped OR 3 t. dried chopped basil 1 large onion, chopped and sautee in 2 T

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place the tomatoes in a colander in the sink in 1 layer. Sprinkle with salt and drain for 10 minutes. Do not add salt if using canned tomatoes. Sautee onions in vegetable oil. Layer the onion, tomato slices and basil in pie shell. Add crumbled bacon. Combine the grated cheeses and mayonnaise together. Spread mixture on top of the tomatoes and bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cut into slices and serve warm.
