moves G league team to Osceola Heritage Park

Calling it an “incredible opportunity for all,” Orlando Magic Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner Alex Martins announced on Tuesday that the team was moving its NBA G League team to Kissimmee and the Silver Spurs Arena in time for the 2023-24 season.

Formerly the Lakeland Magic, the team has been rebranded the Osceola Magic and will play the home portion of its 50-game schedule at Silver Spurs beginning in November. Founded in 2017, the franchise played its first six seasons in Lakeland as the Lakeland Magic.
