The Primary project day of The PSBB Millennium School
The two days annual project day “Khela Bharathaposhini” at the PSBB Millennium School, Gerugambakkam entertained the students, parents and the invitees eventfully and knowledgeably. The aboriginal sports and games of Indian origin and other few countries were touched upon through presentations on the students’ hand-made eco-friendly models. Cultural event as a part of the project day was the major attraction that was presented with a theme. The children’s dramatization, dance forms and songs delivered to express various Indigenous Indian sports and games that were structured in-order-to develop physical and mental fitness of people were sensational. The knowledge of forgotten and unknown games and the value learnt out of the project day as health is the most valuable treasure were the taken away of those 2 days.

Vedanta Academy celebrated “Thai Pongal”
Vedanta Academy (CBSE School) Vanagaram, celebrated “Thai Pongal”, in the school premises on Jan. 12. The Director, Sundeep Vasu and the Principal Lakshmi Venkat welcomed and cheered the gathering highlighting on ‘Nurture the Nature’. Students turned up in traditional outfits demonstrating their knowledge about the festival with the help of art, speech, costume shows and dance performances. The event location wore a festive look as parents enthusiastically participated in competitions like ‘Pongal Making’, ‘Rangoli’, ‘Tug of War’ and ‘Uriyadi - Pot breaking’ to usher in the harvest festival.
