THE HOUSE COMPETITION
• Our focus for the day is the inter-house event.
• The most successful house wins The Waldon-Day Cup.

• All points in the track / field and relay events are added together in House teams to determine the champions.
• Points are awarded as follows:
• 3x no throws / long jumps or withdrawal from event = 0points
• Please note that Relay races are awarded double points. = 1st – 16 points = 2nd – 14 points = 3rd – 12 points = 4th – 10 points
THE INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION
• The performer who scores the highest individual points, throughout Sports Day, in their age group will become the Victrix Ludorum (= Latin for "thewinnerofthegames.")
• Maximum number of sports day events = 4 3 (either 2 track / 1 field or 2 field / 1track) + Relay
• Relay points do not count towards the individual scores.
• The highest score for an individual is therefore 3 x 8 = 24
• Points are not awarded for the fun event and therefore it will not count towards the individual competition or the house shield. The event is purely for fun Priority in the fun event goes to 2 girls per house, per year, who are not in any other events.
