A) Presentation on the COVID-19 Budget Update.
B) Discussion and action on a resolution authorizing the City of El Paso as a recipient of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Security Act (CARES Act) grant funds in the amount of $118,956,278.90 to approve the appropriation of the grant funds to cover the costs that:
(1) Are necessary expenditures incurred due to the public health emergency with respect to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19);
(2) Were not accounted for in the budget most recently approved as of March 27, 2020 for the state or government;
(3) And were incurred during the period that begins on March 1, 2020 and ends on December 30, 2020. That the City Manager, or designee, be authorized to effectuate any budget transfers and execute any contracts and/or documents necessary to ensure the funds are properly expended for such purpose.
