ROOTED IN MISSION. Pope Francis Preparatory School is a Catholic, college preparatory community welcoming students of all faiths and promoting Christian values of justice, peace, service, and mercy. Students thrive under the guidance of inspiring teachers, the strength of curriculum and instruction, highly selective college acceptances, modern technology, state-of-the-art facilities, competitive athletics, a robust fine and performing arts program, and supportive families, alumni, and friends.

The COVID-19 pandemic taught us new things and forced us to think outside of the box, get creative, become more innovative, reconceptualize operations and how we utilize space. We learned to expect the unexpected.

Pope Francis Preparatory School has experienced enrollment growth of 28% (an increase of about 95 students) over the past five years. We have become bigger and stronger each year. This exciting growth necessitates the addition of four full size classrooms and will allow Pope Francis Prep to remain flexible, ahead of the curve, accommodating to our enrollment growth, and prepared to offer in-person instruction with adequate space at all times. PFPS has been the fortunate recipient of EANS (Emergency Assistance to Non-Public Schools) grant funding as a result of the pandemic. A portion of this funding may be used to help offset the cost to add the additional classrooms. Provided the installation of this project remains on track, this addition will be completed by the end of this calendar year and ready for occupancy in January. Further, the project will not interrupt the daily operations and experiences of the school. These new classrooms will be located on the backside of campus and will be accessible from the hallway on the first floor of the existing building. The new classrooms will be furnished with the advanced technology and the same desks and equipment found in all current classrooms. With full enrollment in the range of 420-440 students, this addition of four classrooms will allow Pope Francis Prep to maximize instructional space and continue to thrive.
