Letter from the Director of Development Dear Alumni, Family, and Friends, Last year was an incredible year for Pope Francis Preparatory School! Thanks to your support, the year was marked by the opening of our state-of-the-art campus and saw our school community deeply engaged in the rich and rewarding work of learning together. I am honored to continue our commitment to enhancing and growing the School’s legacy of excellence in Catholic secondary education in Western Massachusetts. Our strengths are due in no small part to the generosity of those recognized in the following pages. Your faithfulness to making an investment in our school represents the cornerstone of all the work accomplished daily within our thriving learning community. The Cardinal Fund generates the finances necessary to not only provide the wide range of programs and initiatives offered in support of our core values, but it is vital in keeping the School fiscally sound. In reflection of last year’s charitable giving, we saw a 49% increase in annual giving overall. There is strength in these numbers and they represent the contagious energy, optimism, and collective commitment to our shared future. Development Director, Daniel Fenton CHS ‘09 (R), recognized NHL player, Frank Vatrano (L) by giving him an honorary diploma from Cathedral High School at the Cardinal Classic Golf Tournament in May. Frank left Cathedral prior to graduation to pursue his professional hockey career. A former Boston Bruin, Frank now plays for the Florida Panthers.
It is truly an exciting and formative time at Pope Francis Prep. A time that I know will make a difference to this school forever. I am grateful for your continued commitment and thoughtful support. We are forever blessed by your generosity.
