GREETINGS FROM THE FACTORY

2025 was a year of celebration for Ponsse as it marked 55-year anniversary since the founding of the company and 30 years of Ponsse in USA. In true Ponsse fashion, we celebrated the milestones together with our customers, employees, and partners all over the world. We want to thank our customers for continued trust and support in Ponsse. Our customer partnership is the most important thing for us, and we do not take it for granted.

2026 is a year when we continue to work hard and aim to improve our products by listening to customers’ feedback. Our main target is to offer the very best products on the market and provide best support for our customers in aftersales, including service, spare parts and training. This requires daily work and commitment to excellence, and I believe our organization is ready for this.

For those who don’t know me, my name is Samuel Vidgren, and I am responsible for North American operations for Ponsse, starting January 2026. My grandfather was Einari Vidgren, the founder of Ponsse. The values instilled by him are still strongly guiding our daily operations. Ponsse is a family company and so are many of our customers. Even though there are many challenges in the world currently, such as slow timber markets, Russian war on Ukraine and US tariffs, we are in the long-term business and keep focusing on things we can control, and that is making the best forest machines in the world.

NEW PARTS HUB – BARAGA, MI

On January 30, 2026, Ponsse – the forest machine company – proudly held the grand opening of a new Parts Hub in Baraga, Michigan, a facility designed to better serve Ponsse’s customers with greater convenience and faster access to the parts they rely on.

“This hub is the direct result of customer feedback”, says Terry Hoffmeyer, Spare Parts Specialist at Ponsse. “We’ve listened closely to the needs and requests of our operators and contractors, and we are actively adjusting our inventory based on real machine demands. We currently stock 180-line items, and with increased use of the facility, we expect that number to grow rapidly”, he says.

The Parts Hub already includes a wide range of consumables – bars, chains, filter kits, sprockets, oils, hoses, and more. Additional stocked items include saw motors, DEF pumps, DEF filters, harvester head knives, and other essential components. This is only the beginning, and Ponsse will continue expanding their inventory as customer needs evolve.

“We have only been open for a short time, but customers seem to like it, and we are here for our customers,” says Terry Hoffmeyer, based out of our Gladstone, Michigan Service Center. Terry oversees inventory and customer support for the Baraga Parts Hub and plays a key role in ensuring the facility meets customer expectations.

Ponsse remains committed to continuous improvement and to listening closely to the people who depend on their machines every day. Ponsse has been manufacturing forest machines in Finland since 1970.

In 2025 Ponsse announced Mark Spoehr has been promoted to the position of USA Service Manager, that took effect April 21, 2025. This promotion recognizes Mark’s dedication, expertise, and outstanding contributions to our organization.

Mark joined Ponsse North America in October 2021 as a Field Service Technician in Rhinelander, WI. With over 25 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, Mark has demonstrated exceptional leadership and technical skills. His background includes maintaining and repairing heavy equipment with extensive experience with medium and heavy trucks, road building, snow removal, and agricultural equipment. He has strong organizational and communication skills in high-paced environments, and expertise in suspension, equipment repair, hydraulics, and welding. Additionally, Mark has served as an Infantry platoon leader and targeting officer in the US Army, achieving the rank of E5/O1.

“I am thrilled to step into my new role overseeing service operations for the leader in cutto-length harvesting machines. With years of experience as my foundation, I am dedicated to upholding and enhancing our commitment to our customers, coworkers, and partners,” Mark declares.

JERRY KOSKI STEPS INTO NEW SERVICE DEALER MANAGER ROLE

Jerry Koski transitioned to a new position within Ponsse overseeing our service dealers, ESW audits, and service agreements. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jerry for his remarkable dedication and contributions as a service manager over the past 26 years. His expertise and commitment have been invaluable, and we look forward to witnessing the continued growth and development of Ponsse through our service dealer network.

At Ponsse, we understand the importance of delivering exceptional service to our customers. The Effective and Safe Workshop (ESW) program provides customers with the best possible after-sales service. By following the ESW guidelines, we aim to ensure that customers receive consistent, high-quality service, regardless of their location or choice between Ponsse’s service centers or authorized service dealers.

“During my time at Ponsse, I have witnessed incredible growth, which has been an honor to be part of. With this growth comes the need for more defined processes and focus

to sustain our success. I’m excited to see employees develop, share their ideas, and contribute to our progress. I’m also eager to take on my new responsibilities, including ESW audits, service dealer growth, and promoting our service agreements, as we continue driving the company forward,” states Jerry Koski.

These changes will allow us to enhance our focus and strengthen our service department, driving growth and success in the near future while reaffirming our commitment to keeping our customers as our top priority.

JOHN HOLMES APPOINTED AREA MANAGER FOR U.S. DEALER NETWORK

We wanted to share an important update regarding our team in the United States. As of January 1, 2026, John Holmes assumed the role of Area Manager responsible for supporting and developing Ponsse’s dealer network across the country. In this role, John focused on strengthening sales and service through close cooperation with our dealer partners, providing training and support, and ensuring that information flowed smoothly between our teams. His work was centered on improving the customer experience and helping our dealers grow alongside us.

Many of you have known John for years. He had been part of Ponsse’s U.S. organization for more than two decades, beginning his career as a field mechanic before moving into sales for the past 15 years. His deep understanding of our machines, our customers, and the industry made him a natural fit for this position. John stepped into the role previously held by Samuel Vidgren, who began serving as Vice President, North America on January 1, 2026. In this structure, John reported directly to Samuel and continued to be based in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

Samuel shared that the United States had remained a key market for Ponsse, and strengthening the strategic role of our dealer network was essential to serving customers well. John’s long experience, product knowledge, and commitment to customer needs provided a strong foundation for developing sales and service together with our partners. Our shared goal is to grow faster than the market and build longterm, trustbased relationships with customers across the region.

We appreciated your continued trust in Ponsse and looked forward to supporting your work with the same dedication and partnership that have always guided us.

ROAD RUNNER REPAIR

TOGETHER – PONSSE USA AND ROAD RUNNER REPAIR – CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF COOPERATION

Cadott, Wisconsin – Ponsse USA is proud to mark 10 years of successful cooperation with Road Runner Repair, a trusted forestry and construction equipment service provider founded by Aaron Vizer

Road Runner Repair began in 2011 when Aaron, after 13 years as a Field Service Technician, made the bold decision to start his own business. What began with a single service truck quickly grew into a full operation. Recognizing the need for a dedicated workspace, Aaron built a twobay shop at his home in Boyd, Wisconsin. His commitment to customer service, deep technical knowledge, and strong business instincts helped Road Runner Repair earn the trust of loggers and construction professionals across the region.

In 2016, Road Runner Repair officially began its cooperation with Ponsse as a service dealer–an important milestone that strengthened support for Ponsse customers throughout Wisconsin and beyond.

As business continued to grow, Aaron partnered with Jason Klukas in 2020. Jason brought a strong leadership background from his service in the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as a heavy diesel mechanic for 10 years. His experience in roles such as Shop Foreman, Product Support, and Parts & Service Manager added valuable depth to the company’s capabilities.

The partnership paved the way for a major expansion. In 2021, Road Runner Repair opened a stateoftheart facility in Cadott, WI, featuring:

• Six service bays

• A spacious, modern showroom

• Geothermal heating and cooling

• Extensive parts storage

THIS FACILITY HAS BECOME ONE OF THE MOST IMPRESSIVE SERVICE CENTERS IN THE INDUSTRY.

In 2026, Road Runner Repair celebrates three major achievements:

• 5 years in the new Cadott facility

• 10 years of cooperation with Ponsse

• 15 years in business.

To mark the occasion, Road Runner Repair will host an Open House on Friday, April 10, featuring a parts special, axe throwing, BBQ chicken and pulled pork with tasty sides, and opportunities to win great door prizes.

Today, Road Runner Repair stands as a true onestop shop, offering a wide selection of parts for all makes and providing repair services for all brands of forestry and construction equipment. Aaron, Jason, and their team continue to put customers first, backed by a deep understanding of the industries they serve.

“Aaron and Jason represent everything that a manufacturer would appreciate partnering with. Their improvements to the facility, processes and commitment to the customers are substantial and a perfect example of ‘better every day’. Roadrunner exemplifies what it means to operate sustainably & efficiently in daily business with their new workshop. It’s been a pleasure to work with Roadrunner Repair and watch their business grow along with Ponsse’s customer base in their area. We thank Roadrunner Repair for their commitment to Ponsse and our shared customers” Jerry Koski, Ponsse USA Service Dealer, Service Agreement & ESW Manager

CHADWICK-BAROSS

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF PARTNERSHIP: PONSSE & CHADWICK-BAROSS

In 2026, Ponsse proudly celebrates 20 years of partnership with Chadwick-BaRoss, a collaboration that has strengthened our presence in New England and elevated the service experience for forestry professionals throughout the region.

Our relationship formally began in early 2006, when Chadwick-BaRoss became a dealer for Ponsse forest machines across the Northeastern United States. The agreement built on their decades-long reputation as a highly respected forestry equipment supplier with deep roots in the region and a strong service network spanning Maine to Connecticut. Their longstanding expertise in supporting cuttolength (CTL) harvesting made them an ideal partner as Ponsse continued expanding its distribution network in North America.

Over the years, Chadwick-BaRoss has proven to be an exceptional ambassador of Ponsse’s values—customer focus, uptime reliability, and commitment to sustainable forestry solutions. Their team’s solid experience in forestry machinery sales and service has been instrumental in helping Ponsse machines deliver dependable performance in the demanding forests of New England. As noted when the partnership launched, their industry experience and strong regional presence aligned perfectly with Ponsse’s vision for supporting the growth of CTL harvesting across North America.

For two decades, this collaboration has ensured that customers in New England receive expert guidance, responsive support, and access to Ponsse’s full range of advanced CTL equipment–from harvesters and forwarders to innovative harvester heads and information systems. Together, Ponsse and Chadwick-BaRoss have helped logging contractors increase productivity, adopt more sustainable harvesting practices, and keep machines operating with maximum uptime.

As we mark this 20 year milestone, Ponsse extends its sincere appreciation to everyone at Chadwick-BaRoss. Their dedication, local expertise, and unwavering customer support continue to strengthen our shared mission: empowering forest professionals with the most reliable, sustainable harvesting solutions in the industry.

Here’s to the next 20 years of partnership, progress, and shared success.

PROCESSOR AND HARVESTER HEAD SALES & SUPPORT

I’m originally from Mexico, Maine, where I’ve lived my entire life. My wife, Melissa, and I enjoy working on projects around the house and traveling with friends whenever we can. We also have a granddaughter who we love spending time with—and spoiling every chance we get.

Before joining Ponsse, I spent many years working directly in the woods as a processor operator in western Maine, gaining hands -on experience and a deep understanding of the work our customers do every day. I later moved into field service, supporting customers by keeping equipment running smoothly and assisting with new installations.

My background as both an operator and a field technician gives me a unique perspective when working with customers. I understand their challenges from the operator’s seat as well as from the service side, and I believe that experience helps me build strong, genuine relationships with both new and longtime customers.

PEKKA’S CLOSING

2025 was quite the rollercoaster. Tariffs certainly threw a wrench into the gears of the forest industry, but for us, celebrating 30 years of Ponsse in the USA was a milestone that reminded us why the hard work matters. There’s nothing like bringing longtime and new customers together–sharing stories, successes, and the passion that drives this industry forward.

As we move into 2026, the landscape may feel uncertain, but our commitment and focus on “pulling the rope in the same direction” is exactly what keeps things moving forward. We’re not just talking the talk–we’re listening, reacting, and turning customer feedback into real action. The new Baraga Parts Hub and our expanding reman shop are clear examples of putting boots on the ground to support our customers where it counts.

2026 will be a year defined by teamwork–between us, our customers, and our partners. In a constantly changing forest industry, TOGETHER is the only way to succeed.

I wish you an incredibly successful year ahead.
