EDITO Dans la perspective des Jeux Olympiques de Paris en 2024, nous avons décidé‫ ܉‬de créer un nouveau tournoi, la coupe des nations, réunissant des équipes de 12 goals venant du monde entier.

La première édition de ce nouveau tournoi international se déroulera au Polo Club de Chantilly, siège de la Fédération IȸƏȇƯƏǣɀƺ Ƴƺ ¨ȒǼȒً Ƴɖ ‫ ז‬Əɖ ‫ ז׏‬Ǵɖǣȇ ‫ژِבא׎א‬ La France ayant la chance et l’honneur de pouvoir accueillir les Jeux Olympiques en 2024, nous souhaitons saisir cette opportunité pour mettre en avant le Polo, qui fut une épreuve olympique jusqu’en 1936, à travers cette Nations Cup qui aura lieu en 2024 pendant la semaine équestre des Jeux Olympiques.

Cette nouvelle compétition participe également au développement du polo international avec toujours plus Ƴ‫ټ‬ƏɖƳƏƬƺ ƺɎ Ƴ‫ټ‬ƏȅƫǣɎǣȒȇ Əˡȇ de promouvoir un polo de plus en plus compétitif.

Ce sera également l’occasion de faire découvrir notre discipline au plus grand nombre, de mettre en avant nos élevages et nos infrastructures de grandes qualités.

In the run-up to the Paris Olympic Games in 2024, we have decided to create ԝ a new tournament, the Nations Cup, bringing together 12-goal teams from all over the world. Àńġ ǬƞƦƴ ġĚŊƴŊŸŭ ŸĻ ƴńŊƦ ŭġǕ international tournament will take place at the Polo Club de Chantilly, headquarters of the French Polo Federation, from June 8th to 18th, 2023.

As France is fortunate and honored to be able to host the Olympic Games in 2024, we want to seize this opportunity to showcase polo, which was an Olympic sport until 1936, through this Nations Cup which, will be held in 2024 during the Olympic Games Equestrian Week.

This new competition also contributes to the development of international polo, with ever greater audacity and ambition to promote increasingly competitive polo. It will also be an opportunity to introduce our discipline to as many people as possible, and to showcase our high-quality breeding and infrastructure.

EDITO Depuis quelques années, le Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly a su organiser de très belles saisons de polo et devenir un lieu incontournable du polo européen.

Nous y parvenons avec l’Open de France, qui chaque année attire de plus en plus d’équipes françaises et internationales.

Dans cette dynamique et en restant dans l’ADN transmise par le fondateur de notre club Monsieur Patrick Guerrand Hermès : « Un Polo de haut niveau sur des terrains de grande qualité » La Polo Nations Cup est née…. Un nouvel événement pour le Club, mais aussi pour le polo Français. À quelques kilomètres de Paris, le Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, avec ses neuf terrains répartis sur 205 hectares bordés de forêt, est un terrain de jeu idéal pour accueillir une compétition de cette envergure.

Réunissant des équipes et des joueurs du monde entier, cette première édition de la Polo Nations Cup promet d’être très compétitive et d’offrir au public sur place, comme derrière son écran, un beau spectacle avec de grands matchs de polo ! Tous les éléments seront réunis pour faire de ce tournoi un événement incontournable du circuit international, à l’instar de l’Open de France.

Over the past few years, the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly succeeded in organizing some excellent polo seasons and becoming a key venue for European polo.

The Korea Polo Federation (KPF) currently consists of 41 Gen-X entrepreneurs that have experience in leading successful businesses in Korea and abroad.

Enthusiasm towards our new program is already being realized as nearly all our new members are learning to ride and are now taking regular polo lessons. Just last week during a KPF Retreat at Korea Polo Club, 29 adults and children, the youngest of which was ϼ҃ǛġöƞƦ҃ŸŢĚѠ ƴŸŸŞ ƛöƞƴ Ŋŭ ö total of 71 beginner lessons.

With a focused fundraising strategy, KPF is fostering young players and supporting youth polo teams.

In 2022, the club hosted intercollegiate teams from Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cambridge and Oxford universities. Shortly after, KPF became the lead sponsor of the Jeju National University Polo Team and has provided free-of-charge polo lessons to college students with the aim of making polo more accessible.

KPF is also currently developing a middle and high school polo program inspired by the success of the Interscholastic/Intercollegiate (I/I) programs run by the United States §ŸŢŸ ƦƦŸēŊöƴŊŸŭ ѷDz§ Ѹѥ wŸƦƴ ŭŸƴöĒŢǛѠ ǬĻƴġġŭ ūöŢġ and female students are taking regular polo lesƦŸŭƦѥ Ʀ ŸĻ wöǛѠ ƴńġǛ ńöǔġ ŸĻǬēŊöŢŢǛ ƦƴöƞƴġĚ ƛŢöǛŊŭļ

Inspired by asado-side chats in Cañuelas with Ali Albwardy, a KPF Advisor, we recognize that developing a strong bond with horses is integral to the eventual success of any individual player.

Therefore, this coming July, the Interscholastic players will take part in an intensive Varsity Training Camp where they will not only develop their polo, but also their horsemanship skills.

Welcome to the Polo Nations Cup in Chantilly, In the world of equestrian sport, the Nations Cup, formerly also called the Prize of Nations, is one of the most important tournament series in international sport. Àńġ ǬƞƦƴ yöƴŊŸŭƦ !Ƽƛ Ŋŭ ƴńġ history of show jumping took place in June 1909 at the London Olympic Hall as part of the London International Horse Show, which is still held today. At that time, the French team won ahead of Italy and Great Britain.

In polo, a Nations Cup did not exist – until now.
