Der Büroturm für die flämische Regierung ist das erste Gebäude der Neubau-Erschließung am Bahnhof Gent-Sint-Pieters. Die sorgfältige Auswahl von Materialien und der Dialog mit dem öffentlichen Raum ermöglichen eine natürliche Integration in das bestehende Stadtgefüge. Der Entwurf hat eine sehr subtile Ausstrahlung in allen Maßstäben. Die architektonische Gestaltung bereichert die Identität und Funktion der Stadt Gent.

PR O J EC T D ESC RI P T I ON

The office tower for the Flemish Government is the first building of the new development at the railway station Ghent-SintPieters Ghent. The choice of the right materials and the dialogue with the public domain allows the design to integrate naturally within the existing urban fabric. The proposal shows a very subtle effect on all scales. The architectural design gives something back to the city of Ghent by means its identity and function.
