Megan has been a local in the community her whole life. Being a 5th generation in the heart of Polk county! She grew up in a salon by spending lots of time with her aunt Sheila who has been doing hair in Dallas for 35 years! History of beauty runs deep in the family as most women attended beauty collage including Megan’s Great-Great-great grandma Holt, ,who was the first Women barber in Dallas OR having her barber shop in downtown Dallas in the early 1900s!

August 1st 2014 Megan opened the doors to Bel Salone on our historic main street just days after finishing beauty college. In the summer of 2020 Megan started her year long expansion of Bel in the building next door creating a “spa” and boutique. Partnering with Cynthian Roots House plants they opened in July of 2021! Raising her two daughters in a salon as she was raised created a family feel salon where you feel at home every time you visit. Besides doing hair behind the chair, Megan loves to volunteer and host community events that bring other local businesses together.

Today you will find a wide range of beauty services including facials, waxing, lashes, nails, pedicures and all things hair! You can also shop at our local boutique Henry and Me!
